Through our people, leadership development, services, technology and scale, GE delivers better outcomes for global customers by speaking the language of industry.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>E<\/strong><strong>ID Intern<\/strong><br \/>\nRef ID: 2938996<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\nJob Function: EPC Project Management<br \/>\nBusiness Segment: Oil &amp; Gas Engineering &amp; Supply Chain<br \/>\n<strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support in the day-to-day technical interface management for Turbomachinery and Process Solutions (TPS) New Units Installation Projects under execution.Internship duration should read 3 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support in the preparation of weekly project report summary<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and tracking of the status of project interface action items with consortium partner, other contractors at site and owner\u2019s engineer<\/li>\n<li>Support the site team with the administrative process of engaging sub-contractors (suppliers) for site activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working towards completion of a Bachelor Degree (preferably engineering or energy industry related)<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in use of MS Office Suite of tools<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of engineering principles applicable to undergraduate level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desired Characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering background to be considered<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently as well as in a group<\/li>\n<li>Able to collaborate with employees across the organization<\/li>\n<li>A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)<\/li>\n<li>Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English<\/li>\n<li>Motivated and eager to learn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/jobs.gecareers.com\/ShowJob\/Id\/26859\/EID-Intern\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GE is the world\u2019s Digital Industrial Company, transforming industry with software-defined machines and solutions that are connected, responsive and predictive.
