{"id":40048,"date":"2017-07-24T14:53:38","date_gmt":"2017-07-24T13:53:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=40048"},"modified":"2017-07-24T14:55:19","modified_gmt":"2017-07-24T13:55:19","slug":"simeons-pivot-resources-ongoing-recruitment-apply-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/simeons-pivot-resources-ongoing-recruitment-apply-now.html","title":{"rendered":"Simeons Pivot Resources Ongoing Recruitment: Apply Now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Simeons Pivot Resources \u2013 Our client, a water engineering and renewable energy company in Lagos, Nigeria is recruiting for the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Business Development Manager<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong>\u00a0Business and Project<br \/>\n<strong>Job Level:<\/strong>\u00a0Managerial\/Supervisory<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong>\u00a0Senior Executive Director, Business and Project<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure steady growth in customers\u2019 base (numbers); discover and secure businesses to increase the company\u2019s market shares in the new and existing markets; plan and execute marketing personnel skills development and provide leadership to marketing personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>It includes but is not limited to the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Formulate business development strategies and tactics, review them with the senior director project and business; pursue actualization in profitable and volume business closures.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and manage all the business development teams within the span of control<\/li>\n<li>Regularly produce market intelligence reports on effectively conducted market researches that identify opportunities, threats (competitors\u2019 activities ets) and strategic deployments. Regularly gather trends in the market place<\/li>\n<li>Organized regular trainings and interactions for marketing personnel aimed at empowerment, performance enhancements, service assurance and disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate marketing performances; relate them against expectations and market realities; and making appropriate recommendations for greater performances.<\/li>\n<li>Take full controls, responsibilities and accountabilities for all marketing resources and activities<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with heads of projects, head of product sales and customer care and head of workshops to develop and implement integrated solutions that would edge-out competitors, grow market acceptance and patronage<\/li>\n<li>Create and drive market promotions to massively grow the company\u2019s brand loyalty, market shares, revenues and profits<\/li>\n<li>Formulate and recommend implementable business development staff motivations options to the senior director project and business. This may include incentives, performance prize awards, etc<\/li>\n<li>Prepare periodic business development reports for senior director project and business<\/li>\n<li>Manage independent marketing agents<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the senior director project and business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc \/HND in Engineering or any other discipline<\/li>\n<li>Managerial Experience in an engineering field will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>MBA\/MSC will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Relevant professional Marketing experience<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of six (6) years post-graduate experience with over 4years experience in a managerial position e.g Business Development Manager, Sales or Marketing Manager in an Engineering industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Competency:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shall possess excellent persuasive and negotiating skills<\/li>\n<li>Shall possess very good marketing acumen<\/li>\n<li>Shall possess good leadership and emotional intelligence<\/li>\n<li>Very admirable and psychologically assuring physique<\/li>\n<li>Shall be physically and medically energetic for sales and marketing<\/li>\n<li>Shall be able to travel as is necessary<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate very well in writing<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability to analyze and interpret financial and statistical data<\/li>\n<li>Shall be very entrepreneurial<\/li>\n<li>Very articulate and expressive<\/li>\n<li>Shall be computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Shall be ever willing to lend personal knowledge to others<\/li>\n<li>Shall be teachable and adaptable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN400,000 \u2013 N500,000\/Month (Negotiable)<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should submit their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jobs@simeonspivot.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>jobs@simeonspivot.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with position applied for as subject title e.g Business Development Manager<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nNote:<\/strong>\u00a0If you are not qualified for this position please do not apply.
