{"id":40583,"date":"2017-08-07T11:08:42","date_gmt":"2017-08-07T10:08:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=40583"},"modified":"2017-08-07T11:08:42","modified_gmt":"2017-08-07T10:08:42","slug":"stresert-services-limited-new-job-insurance-brokerage-consulting-company","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/stresert-services-limited-new-job-insurance-brokerage-consulting-company.html","title":{"rendered":"Stresert Services Limited: New Job At An Insurance Brokerage and Consulting Company"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stresert Services Limited \u2013 Our client, a licensed and well established insurance brokerage and consulting company with headquarters in the South-South region, and business offices in key business centres in Nigeria, is currently recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Accounts Executive<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounts receivable<\/li>\n<li>Generate invoices and credit notes<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile accounts receivable subsidiary ledger with general ledger<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers<\/li>\n<li>Banking duties as required<\/li>\n<li>Accounts payable and inventory<\/li>\n<li>Data entry of vendor invoices<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of inventory data base<\/li>\n<li>Maintain aged debtors\u2019 trial balance within policy thresholds and follow up customers with outstanding balances<\/li>\n<li>Prepare debtor lists and contact clients in order to procure outstanding payments<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with section managers; follow up with outstanding debtors.<\/li>\n<li>Generate vendor payments as required<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of petty cash<\/li>\n<li>Assist with processing of credit reconciliations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>General ledger:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare month-end reconciliations, journals, accruals and pre-payments, to trial balance<\/li>\n<li>Prepare month-end sales &amp; assist with management reporting as necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Payroll support:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with payroll preparation as at when due.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, check and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy of processing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide high quality, prompt advice to staff on finance policies, processes and queries.<\/li>\n<li>Other administrative and accounts duties as assigned from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements, Education, Skills &amp; Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND\/B.Sc in Accounting (not a chartered accountant)<\/li>\n<li>3 \u2013 5 years work experience in similar position<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work with accounting software<\/li>\n<li>Must be very good with Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Ability to demonstrate initiative, flexibility and attention to detail in a busy, changing work environment .<\/li>\n<li>Ability to plan and organise work schedule and work within tight timelines<\/li>\n<li>Cultivates productive working relationships by actively participating in teamwork and group activities.<\/li>\n<li>Displays personal drive and integrity working as directed to achieve work objectives<\/li>\n<li>MUST have knowledge of account payable &amp; receivable, taxes and payroll processing<\/li>\n<li>Must have good IT Skills<\/li>\n<li>Applicants MUST be resident in Port Harcourt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN120,000 monthly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@stresertservices.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@stresertservices.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Using \u2018AE- PHC\u2019 as subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>18th August, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stresert Services Limited \u2013 Our client, a licensed and well established insurance brokerage and consulting company with headquarters in the South-South region, and business offices in key business centres in&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
