implementing sales plans and managing staff.<\/li>\n<li>The Business Development Manager is expected to meet Sales objectives by Planning, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating Advertising, Merchandising, and Sales Promotion Programs as well as Developing Sales Action Plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Roles &amp; recommending equity investments.<\/li>\n<li>Develops Negotiating Strategies and Positions by Studying Integration of new venture with company Strategies and Operations; Examining risks and Potentials; Estimating Partners\u2019 needs and goals.<\/li>\n<li>Closes New Business Deals by Coordinating Requirements; Developing and Negotiating Contracts; Integrating contract requirements with Business operations.<\/li>\n<li>Protects Organization\u2019s Value by keeping information confidential.<\/li>\n<li>Updates Job Knowledge by Participating in Educational Opportunities; Reading Professional Publications; Maintaining Personal Networks; Participating in Professional Organizations..<\/li>\n<li>Developing Marketing and Sales Strategies, Sales Plans and Profit Targets for the Organization.<\/li>\n<li>Managing all Sales Units Heads with an Oversight Role on Activities, Tasks and Reports.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring Deliverables Fit into Overall Strategy Plans.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring the Performance of the Sales Team by Establishing a System of Reports and Communications involving Sales Reports.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the Technical Sales Team by Creating Ongoing Activities that Promote the Company and its Products\/Services.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining Sales Volume, Establishing and Adjusting the Selling Price by Monitoring Costs, Competition, and Supply and Demand.<\/li>\n<li>Managing and Overseeing the Sales Team to Demonstrate the Ability to Meet Specified Targets within a given time frame.<\/li>\n<li>Developing Yearly Sales and Marketing Budget with inputs from all allied Departments.<\/li>\n<li>To Oversee the Social Media Platforms and Online Marketing, Marketing Communication, Brand Communication and Public Relations.<\/li>\n<li>Exploring and identifying new sales avenues\/opportunities for products.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and executing new initiatives and strategies for expanding products market and growth.<\/li>\n<li>Strategizing and continuous working towards SCSP brand building.<\/li>\n<li>Managing, strengthening and leveraging customer relationship across all main customers groups (private and public sector, tender business).<\/li>\n<li>Building competent, effective, efficient and result oriented sales team.<\/li>\n<li>Analysing market intelligence on competition and strategizing accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Prospect for and secure new business deals for SCSP and Meet sales targets.<\/li>\n<li>Fully understand products\u2019 functionality and benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and deploy competitive market plans and strategies to promote SCSP\u2019s products and services.<\/li>\n<li>Professionally manage all prospective and actual customers of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Represent SCSP in exhibitions, trade shows and others.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain complete and accurate records and reports on clients, sales transactions and business development and activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure, sustain and maintain business relationships with all clients.<\/li>\n<li>Develop relationship with architects, consultants, specifiers and key influencers.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse, develop, implement and follow-up on business development approach for end user groups.<\/li>\n<li>Present, discuss, adjust and follow-up on technical and commercial solutions with end-users, consultants, influencers and construction companies.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation and maintenance of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies with specific focus on growth, cost reduction and process improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Managing difficult circumstances pertaining to sales, marketing, administration, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Actively get involved in projects specifications, tender documents and budgetary quotes.<\/li>\n<li>Active use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain the image with existing and potential partners and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and organize influencer events; participate if required in trade shows, congresses and support PR activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Attributes<\/strong><br \/>\nQualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in related field Preferably Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc).<\/li>\n<li>MBA is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Must be 37 years and above<\/li>\n<li>Successful track record in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies<\/li>\n<li>Keen awareness of clients preferences, ability to adapt quickly to new market trends and a strong drive for results<\/li>\n<li>Strong, decisive, results oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships across the company.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and teach others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minimum Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 7 years\u2019 cognate experience (preferably in Fire business), with wide network of contacts throughout the West African region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain the image with existing and potential partners and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Good Business closing skill<\/li>\n<li>Very High Energy Level and Ability to meet Sales Target.<\/li>\n<li>Product knowledge in Fire systems, HSE products, Access, CCTV, and Intrusion is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate at top-level with professional organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Good skills in MS-Office (word, excel, PowerPoint etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel frequently<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in organizing trainings, seminars, trade-shows and giving presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Commercial attitude, existing network\/knowledge of consultants, specifiers, construction companies, architects and end users is an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Able to learn and understand the products technically and support customers in technical questions.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Presentation Skill<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communicator and business relationship builder.<\/li>\n<li>Open minded person, team player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Interfaces:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contractors<\/li>\n<li>Consultants<\/li>\n<li>Organisations\u2019 Safety Managers<\/li>\n<li>Ministries Stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Professional Associations<\/li>\n<li>Relevant Regulatory Bodies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Travel Time:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The job requires 75% travel time from the job holder.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Language:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in English Language (Written &amp;
