Our aim is to provide emergency relief to uprooted people in order to help them recover their dignity and regain self-sufficiency.<br \/>\nPUI has been present in Nigeria since April 2016. The NGO is willing to cover the needs of crisis affected people in Borno State through a comprehensive integrated approach, targeting the people\u2019s affected by the crisis with means of subsistence (Food Security &amp; Livelihood), the access to the basic services (Primary Health Care, Nutrition) and the living conditions (Shelter, NFI, WASH, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Food Security and Livelihoods Coordinator<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As part of our activities in Nigeria, we are looking for a Food Security and Livelihoods Coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>The Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) Coordinator designs the intervention framework of the mission in term of Food Security and Livelihood (strategic positioning, programmatic approach, technical guidelines), supports the Food Security and Livelihood field teams in the implementation of their projects, and pilots the Food Security and Livelihood programs development.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he seconds the Head of Programs in the appreciation\/assessment of the social impact of of the projects rolled out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Programmes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>S\/he supervises the technical rolling out of the programs and ensures the qualitative aspects of programmes (monitoring of objectives, respecting due dates and budgetary provisions, quality control) are properly implemented by the different stakeholders (program teams, field coordinators, partners).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Evaluation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>S\/he develops a high qualitative and quantitative research analysis on FSL opportunities and resilience mechanism to the current Nigerian crisis, to offer an adapted response in a challenging context of intervention for the sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Strategy &amp; Development:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>S\/he participates, for his\/her technical sector, in the design of the operational strategy and suggests new operations according to needs analysis of the humanitarian situation.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he participates actively (in coordination with other Technical Coordinators and the relevant Field Coordinators) in the definition and implementation of assessments and in the design and overall project cycle management of all FSL projects at mission level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Human Resources:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>S\/he supports from a technical point of view the teams operating on FSL (recruitment, objectives definition, and evaluation).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Representation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>S\/he ensures and coordinates the PUI\u2019s FSL representation at mission level with partners, working groups, donors and different authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Coordination:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>S\/he ensures that information is efficiently communicated between the FSL teams and other teams (support, programs\u2026) and ensures a proper coordination and information sharing with other national level coordinators (Log, Admin, Shelter and Infrastructure\u2026).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Logistical, Administrative and Financial \/>\nAs part of our activities in Nigeria, we are looking for a Consortium Coordinator:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In close cooperation with consortium partners, the Consortium Coordinator ensures that the consortium\u2019s project implementation according to the approved proposal and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the donor.<\/li>\n<li>The Consortium Coordinator facilitates close and effective coordination and collaboration between consortium partners, ensures high quality documentation of the project activities and ensures that project results are achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Representation: To represent and position the consortium towards external stakeholders ensuring the mission, vision and interests of the consortium and its members are protected<\/li>\n<li>Coordination: To facilitate coordination and communication among consortium partners and ensure the consortium partnership operates in an effective manner<\/li>\n<li>Program: To ensure the project is implemented in a timely and professional manner, according to objectives, goals and indicators, in line with donor requirements and based on beneficiary needs.<\/li>\n<li>He sets up exchange and sharing frameworks, and ensures constant and efficient communication between the different members of the consortium.<\/li>\n<li>He represents the consortium to the authorities, humanitarian actors and donors and is in charge of communication around the action.<\/li>\n<li>Safety and Security: To assist in following safety and security rules on-base and will transmit all Activities<\/strong><br \/>\nEnsure consistent representation of the consortium and its activities before FFP or other humanitarian stakeholders:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as a focal point for all external requests regarding the consortium project.<\/li>\n<li>Protect and promote the vision, mission and interests of consortium partners towards external stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li>Represent the consortium toward the donor(s) and government authorities and therefore communicate with the donor(s) and government authorities;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the visibility of the consortium amongst humanitarian, donor and government actors throughout the project;<\/li>\n<li>Effectively manage coordination with other actors (UN, NGOs) intervening in a similar sector;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the continuum of consortium PR activities, including formal presentations, engaging media for coverage on success stories, updating project-specific and regional fact sheets, and documenting publications featuring the consortium in the media;<\/li>\n<li>In the event of visits from donors, he\/she leads the organization and implementation of the visit.<\/li>\n<li>Attend government, UN, NGO and donor meetings and present ongoing consortium activities;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the consortium\u2019s communication activities including media visits, photographer\u2019s mission, videos, etc.;<\/li>\n<li>Lead the drafting and dissemination of position papers, statements, reports and releases on the consortium\u2019s engagements and humanitarian advocacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ensure fluid communication and information sharing between partners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Effectively manage partnerships between the different parties of the consortium to ensure smooth collaboration;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure regular and open\/transparent communication between consortium partners;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out regular catch up with consortium key focal points.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development and maintenance of a coherent consortium strategy across all partners;<\/li>\n<li>Promote harmonization of approaches and methodologies across all consortium partners by developing and monitoring use of common tools, as well as creating opportunities for experience sharing and learning;<\/li>\n<li>Regularly communicate with consortium focal points on project activities;<\/li>\n<li>Convene and chair regular (e.g. monthly, quarterly) consortium steering committee meetings to discuss program and financial issues, disseminate minutes and follow up on action points;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the development of all technical tools related to the consortium\u2019s project (ToRs for consultants and evaluators, ad hoc reports, capitalization reports\u2026);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ensure the project is implemented in a timely and coherent manner by all partners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project Planning:\n<ul>\n<li>Define project implementation modalities and methodologies (including, but not limited to technical specifications, identification and registration of beneficiaries, distribution and sensitization);<\/li>\n<li>Ensure harmonization of methodology and tools among consortium partners<\/li>\n<li>Organize project kick-off and close-out meetings;<\/li>\n<li>Together with the Project Managers of consortium partners, plan the various stages of project implementation and set direction by prioritizing and organizing activities and resources to achieve project objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Project Implementation Follow-up:\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee and monitor the work of consortium, ensuring that technical quality and standards are considered and respected during project implementation;<\/li>\n<li>Support the Project Managers of each partner to implement all aspects of the project;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular follow-up of work plans, identify and address any delays in a timely and effective manner;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor output achievement, cash burn rates and ensure a timely completion of the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Project Quality Control:\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct periodic field visits to validate progress reports, identify problems and issues to address during Consortium Management Team meetings and make recommendations for improvement;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the project progress is effectively monitored through regular data collection, analysis of indicators and activities and documented with proper sources of verification;<\/li>\n<li>Advise consortium Project Managers to adapt implementation of the project according to monitoring and evaluation findings;<\/li>\n<li>Advise on and assist with project reviews conducted by internal and external monitoring and evaluation team;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and put in place a program capitalization system in collaboration with each focal point<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Grant Management:\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that contractual obligations are met in terms of project deliverables;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the activities are implemented according to the approved donor and partnership agreement;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that donor rules and procedures are understood and respected by all parties, sharing information and conducting training if required on proposed systems and processes for consortium management;<\/li>\n<li>Develop a reporting schedule that is agreed by all consortium members;<\/li>\n<li>Along with PUI grants officer, ensure external reporting for all the consortium members according to donor and PUI requirements is respected by all according to agreed deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Collect and consolidate narrative reports from consortium members for donor reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare documentation for any project modifications, including budget revisions, amendments or extensions.
