{"id":40817,"date":"2017-08-11T12:27:24","date_gmt":"2017-08-11T11:27:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=40817"},"modified":"2017-08-11T12:27:24","modified_gmt":"2017-08-11T11:27:24","slug":"ongoing-recruitment-widows-orphans-empowerment-organisation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/ongoing-recruitment-widows-orphans-empowerment-organisation.html","title":{"rendered":"Ongoing Recruitment at Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation (WEWE) is a reputable national indigenous non-governmental organization implementing a USAID-funded Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) project called Local Partners Initiative for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Nigeria (LOPIN-2) in partnership with local and international organizations as well as different tiers of the Government of Nigeria at national, state, local and levels.<br \/>\nWe seek applications from qualified persons for the vacant position in the USAID-funded LOPIN-2 project:<\/p>\n<p>We seek applications from qualified persons for the vacant position in the USAID-funded LOPIN-2 project:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Driver<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Port Harcourt<br \/>\n<strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To drive project vehicle for official duties or as requested by management.<\/li>\n<li>Observe all traffic rules and regulations, safe codes, road signs and drive within maximum speed limits of 100km per hour<\/li>\n<li>Ensure project vehicles are re-fuelled after 75% is utilized.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct routine check-up of the vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate documentation of all movement of personnel\/vehicle usage<\/li>\n<li>Monitor vehicle use and timely notifies the management when servicing and maintenance is due.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the project vehicle is properly kept clean and in good condition at all times<\/li>\n<li>Ensure supplies like tools, first aid box in the vehicle are secured for official use<\/li>\n<li>Manage a log book in compliance to USAID rules and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure each staff signs vehicle log book<\/li>\n<li>Ensure staff obtain approval from administration before vehicle is taken out<\/li>\n<li>Assist WEWE with the acquisition and renewal of vehicle license, insurance, road worthiness and all other required vehicle document and perform other task as assigned by Supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of WAEC\/SSCE is required<\/li>\n<li>OND\/HND\/B.SC. in any relevant discipline will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Highway code and other training attended<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver License\/Competence Technical Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Driving experience 4-10 years<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of computer skills<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of Mechanical Apprenticeship completion<\/li>\n<li>Trade Test in Driving &amp; Mechanic (FED. MIN.
