{"id":40973,"date":"2017-08-16T11:05:44","date_gmt":"2017-08-16T10:05:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=40973"},"modified":"2017-08-16T11:05:44","modified_gmt":"2017-08-16T10:05:44","slug":"ehealth-africa-eha-vacancy-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/ehealth-africa-eha-vacancy-available.html","title":{"rendered":"eHealth Africa (eHA) Vacancy Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>eHealth Africa (eHA) designs and implements data-driven solutions and technologies to improve health systems for and with local communities.\u00a0 eHA\u2019s technology works in low connectivity settings, and smartly uses data to drive decision-making by local governments and partner agencies to get optimum results.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Grant and Contracts Associate<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Kano<br \/>\n<strong>Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Grants Associate will work with and be supervised by the Grants Officer.<\/li>\n<li>The Grants Associate role is to Interface with project staff to manage all aspects of assigned grant portfolio throughout all stages of project development, implementation, and closure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Manage timelines and donor reporting requirements for individual grant activities by maintaining internal trackers, such as the grant status and closing trackers.<\/li>\n<li>Develop project proposals (narrative and budget) in collaboration with technical officers in different thematic areas for internal Review.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies, procedures, and regulations, throughout activity implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor project, progress against the approved project implementation timeline; identify delays and work closely with Program Unit to ensure projects stay on track.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with staff in all departments to complete assigned tasks; engage in regular coordination with Program and Finance units to quickly resolve implementation issues.<\/li>\n<li>Work with project staff to ensure each project are meeting approved implementation conditions and expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with other units to ensure effective and efficient workflow throughout all stages of active development, implementation, and closure.<\/li>\n<li>Assist by managing reporting for key performance indicators and milestones deliverables for successful program implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other tasks as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education\/Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business administration, Statistics or numerate discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years Cognate Experience in grants writing, grants accounting and sub-award management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in international development project management and donor funds administration.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in assessing the responsibility and grant-worthiness of organizations through financial statements, audits and other documentation presented in a proposal or in support of an award.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Core Competence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, including a proven ability to maintain constructive relationships with colleagues and partners, both in-person and virtually.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency working within specialized software utilized in the program.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.<\/li>\n<li>English is the spoken and written language. Fluency in Hausa is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
