{"id":41375,"date":"2017-08-24T15:51:56","date_gmt":"2017-08-24T14:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=41375"},"modified":"2017-08-24T15:51:56","modified_gmt":"2017-08-24T14:51:56","slug":"international-center-advocacy-right-health-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/international-center-advocacy-right-health-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"International Center for Advocacy on the Right to Health Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>International Center for Advocacy on the Right to Health (ICARH) is a non-government organization committed to ensuring that key target populations have access to adequate legal and health care services in Nigerian.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Position Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To support the management team in a variety of operational decisions and engage in financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost analysis, and reviewing operational performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nManagement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the operations of the finance department, including the design of systems adequate for achieving the department\u2019s goals and objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finance Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forecast cash flow positions regarding finance needs, and available funds for operations<\/li>\n<li>Maintain banking relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in determining a standard Financial structure for ICARH.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet on-going operational and project requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Budgeting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate the preparation of ICARH\u2019s annual budget.<\/li>\n<li>Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances<\/li>\n<li>Advise management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction regarding finance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial Analysis:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage in cost reduction analyses in all areas of ICARH\u2019s Expenditure<\/li>\n<li>Interpret ICARH\u2019s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and cash flow analysis<\/li>\n<li>Provide additional analyses and reports as requested by management<\/li>\n<li>Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Accounts Officer should possess a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance or be a Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA).<\/li>\n<li>1 \u2013 2 years\u2019 NGO experience.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Should have an outstanding knowledge of electronic spread sheets, and Accounting software(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jobs@icarh-ng.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>jobs@icarh-ng.org<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>6th September, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>International Center for Advocacy on the Right to Health (ICARH) is a non-government organization committed to ensuring that key target populations have access to adequate legal and health care services&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[28],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
