Our mission is to provide aid as quickly and as efficiently as possible to endangered populations by meeting their vital needs:\u00a0 water, food and shelter.<br \/>\nSI has started activities in North-eastern Nigeria in August 2016 in the fields of Wash and is now intervening in 4 areas of the state for Wash and Shelter activities<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong>Administrative Assistant\u00a0<strong><br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Monguno, Borno<br \/>\n<strong>List of Principal Activities<\/strong><br \/>\nAdministrative management of personnel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Welcome and participate in administrative briefing of new personnel<\/li>\n<li>Assist the administrator for the administrative management of recruitment and hiring<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the organization of training<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the confidentiality of all HR datas<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the monitoring of work contracts on the base<\/li>\n<li>Collect payment details and integrate them into the Human resources management software (Hom\u00e8re)<\/li>\n<li>Issue pay slips and supervise payment of salaries after approval by the administrator<\/li>\n<li>Calculate taxes and duties and create pay records for the relevant organizations<\/li>\n<li>Keep an organization chart up to date for the base<\/li>\n<li>Ensure archiving and monitoring of individual files and deliver all documents relative to the professional life of Solidarit\u00e9s International employees<\/li>\n<li>Assist the administrative in the organization and conduct of meetings with personnel representatives<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the application of policies relating to salaries and benefits for Solidarit\u00e9s International<\/li>\n<li>Monitor changes in the cost of living<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Team management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Train and support team members under his or her supervision<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the minimal replacement of members of the admin services in case of absence (days of, sickness etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Treasury \/ accounting \/ management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise the physical maintenance and safety of cash boxes<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly closing, revision and integrity of accounts for the base<\/li>\n<li>Monitor due dates for payments of contracts managed by the administrative coordinator<\/li>\n<li>List liquidity needs in concert with the admin coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Carry out pay-outs and advances, within established guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Keep the registry of cash pay-outs and the cashier\u2019s register<\/li>\n<li>Record budgetary transfers and keep accounting codes Verify, before recording, that records conform to regulations and procedures of Solidarit\u00e9s International.<\/li>\n<li>Translate accounting documents if necessary<\/li>\n<li>Exchange currencies at request of superiors<\/li>\n<li>Verify cash balances daily and report any discrepancies to superior<\/li>\n<li>Issue vouchers, supervise archiving of records<\/li>\n<li>Participate in audits or any checks issued by partners or head office, at the base level<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the consolidation of budget follow ups and cash forecasts at the base level<\/li>\n<li>Archive accounting records according to Solidarit\u00e9s procedures after a final verification of receipts etc.<\/li>\n<li>Guarantee security of the cash and confidentiality of information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reporting \/ communication:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in supervision of regulations in effect Aid admin Base in relations with administrative authorities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s and suitability statement as a single attachment to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:job.applications@solidarites-nigeria.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>job.applications@solidarites-nigeria.org<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0the subject of the email should be the title\/location and the CV\/Cover Letter should be saved in the applicant\u2019s full name.<br \/>\nOr<br \/>\nHardcopy and the title of the related position must be written on the envelope and addressed to:<strong><br \/>\nSolidarit\u00e9s International Office,<br \/>\nNo 8 Manassa Street,<br \/>\nBehind Polo Ground,<br \/>\nMaiduguri,<br \/>\nBorno State.\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nAttention: Wahab Naimi, Head of Base.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nNote:<\/strong>\u00a0Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
