We are focused on a global market but are headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Information Technology (IT) Business Analyst Intern\/Project Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Onikan, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Fixed term contract with option<br \/>\n<strong>Job Category:<\/strong>\u00a0IT \u2013 Services &amp; Support<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for Information Technology (IT) Business Analyst Intern + Project Assistant to work with our software development team.<\/li>\n<li>Important Note: This is a short term internship ( 6 months \u2013 1 year contract) position. Suitable for industrial attachment (minimum 6 months), NYSC , Fresh Graduates and Trainees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To support the Project Manager and Project officers in the delivery of several distinct projects which require an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who can work autonomously and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>The Project Assistant will be required to work with a variety of stakeholders within and outside the organisation<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will need to assist to deliver effective, highly competent project support and consistently deliver in a person-centred environment which promotes positive relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for assisting the PM with the development of properly formatted specifications\/work items and estimates containing all required technical information and project delivery information.<\/li>\n<li>Will assist the project managers in their key role of\u00a0 working as a liaison among Internal and External stakeholders including clients in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ideal candidate will assist in all or some of the of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Track project deliverables using appropriate tools<\/li>\n<li>Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions<\/li>\n<li>Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs<\/li>\n<li>Handle requests for information and data<\/li>\n<li>Prepare written responses to routine enquiries<\/li>\n<li>Minute taking<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments<\/li>\n<li>Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the work of the organisation as appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tech Savvy with a Passion for IT<\/li>\n<li>Past experience in IT Business Analysis and\/or IT Project management is required (Informal \/ Pre-Graduation but VERIFIABLE experience will suffice)<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Social Media and Visual Content Enthusiast.<\/li>\n<li>Documentation and Administrative Skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn new skills fast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience, Skills &amp; Personal Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Packages (or similar) \u2013 Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Projects, Publisher, Databases, etc<\/li>\n<li>Working in an office environment<\/li>\n<li>Working with clients and the public (face to face or telephone)<\/li>\n<li>Working in a high pressure team<\/li>\n<li>Report writing Skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritise workload and adjust to the needs<\/li>\n<li>Good organisational and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy \/ attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Critical Thinking &amp; Problem Solving<\/li>\n<li>Communication Skills<\/li>\n<li>Social media skills<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability<\/li>\n<li>Time Management<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have a passion for IT<\/li>\n<li>A can do attitude<\/li>\n<li>Innovative &amp; creative<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Have good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic and flexible<\/li>\n<li>Able to use own initiative<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/bincomict.has-jobs.com\/information-technology-it-business-analyst-intern-project-assistant-september-2017-onikan-lagos\/165857\/0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bincom is a fast growing ICT solutions and consulting firm focused on the best use of technology (old,new, emerging, and future) to solve client issues.
