Our company is an Indigenous Internet Service Provider Company with outlets spread all over Lagos State. Our core services are the provision of high speed internet services, telephony and IP \u2013 VPN services to both residential and enterprise subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior IT System Administrator<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<strong><br \/>\nKey Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a senior position that requires an experienced engineer with a minimum of 4+\u00e2\u20ac\u2039 years of system engineering and administration of a corporate IT infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning, designing and implementation of a corporate hardware and software IT infrastructure: LAN Networking, Physical and Virtual Servers, SAN Storage and connectivity, Laptops and Desktops, Enterprise Applications.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively monitoring and planning to maintain an excellent uptime as defined by the business on all IT infrastructure. Resolve technical problems quickly with the least impact to the smooth running of the business. Performing root cause analysis on issues and providing recommendations on permanent fixes to prevent reoccurrence.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective change control is implemented for all changes and updates. Accessing and documenting any risks and impacts to the business and escalating to management accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Managing an excellent business relationship with internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Provide after-hours and weekend supports when required.<\/li>\n<li>All other assignments requested by management.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the core infrastructure: VMware ESX, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SQL Databases, Email, Antivirus, Backup and Restoration, VoIP, Cloud integration. Linux\/Unix management a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Be proactive in enterprise information security for all IT infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in science or engineering with a minimum of 2:1 grade.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum 4 years of relevant experience required in a mid to large sized environment.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced, mature, and confident enough to take responsibility and ownership of the smooth running of the environment in the areas of responsibility as an individual and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant industry certifications is a definite advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential.\u00e2\u20ac\u2039<\/li>\n<li>Have a positive and proactive attitude in general.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preferred certifications (one or more):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MCSE<\/li>\n<li>CCNA<\/li>\n<li>VMware Certified Professional<\/li>\n<li>Cyber Security Certification<\/li>\n<li>Other relevant industry certifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs\/view\/412212940?trkInfo=searchKeywordString%3A%2CsearchLocationString%3A%252C%2B%2Cvertical%3Ajobs%2CpageNum%3A1%2Cposition%3A1%2CMSRPsearchId%3A2b6dd07b-fe8d-412f-a386-4f53667dd28c&amp;refId=2b6dd07b-fe8d-412f-a386-4f53667dd28c&amp;trk=jobs_jserp_job_listing_text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Swift Network is a Telecommunications company located in 5000 Whitestone Ln, Plano, Texas, United States.
