Established in 1994, ARM started operations as a traditional asset management company specialising in the management of quoted equities and fixed income securities.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Equity Trader<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<strong><br \/>\nJob Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The successful candidate will be responsible for executing trades of existing stock broking accounts, relationship management and sales to institutional and private clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe activities of the equity trader\/broker will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute Trades<\/li>\n<li>Monitor Clients portfolios<\/li>\n<li>Assist with relationship and filings at the Stock Exchange<\/li>\n<li>Assist with morning meeting preparation and discussions<\/li>\n<li>Assist with filings at the stock exchange with regards to capital market transactions<\/li>\n<li>Make presentations to staff, prospects and existing clients<\/li>\n<li>Ensure data integrity \u2013 benchmarks, historical prices, client communication records, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Recruit new clients, initiate sales and manage existing relationships<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with institutional clients on Bloomberg<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and send sales pitches to local and international clients<\/li>\n<li>Execute trades in-house and on the floor of stock exchange<\/li>\n<li>Send market colour updates to institutional clients during trading<\/li>\n<li>Any other relevant tasks and assignments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe major requirements for this job role are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or other numerate field<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken English skills<\/li>\n<li>Good management, presentation and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent use of excel<\/li>\n<li>Must have CIS certification with At least 2 years experience in a related field<\/li>\n<li>A background in trading, research or sales would be a strong advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/armcareers.com\/arm\/?%21=vacancy.view@114\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>15th October, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ARM Life is the insurance subsidiary of Asset &amp; Resource Management Company Ltd (ARM).
