Our 43,000 employees are changing the world for the better, too.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Import and Export Coordinator<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Worker Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Employee<br \/>\n<strong>Worker Sub-Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Regular<br \/>\n<strong>Time Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Full time<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure the optimum method of shipment for imported cargoes which are to be received within pre-determined time parameters and terms of sales\/purchase.<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with Logistic service providers on all aspects of the import\/export process.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to planners on shipment timelines, documentation and delivery tracking.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit customs documents required to facilitate clearing of imported cargo. When the required documents are not available, incumbent is to initiate corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in regular and effective cross-functional teamwork with other functions and shipping agents to ensure support and commitment to other functions objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Landed Cost estimates on request from the business using current rate agreements in place.<\/li>\n<li>Obtain Air &amp; Sea Freight Costs on request.<\/li>\n<li>Track SLA with logistics service providers to ensure conformity.<\/li>\n<li>Record keeping of current freight cost for all Imported Raw Material and Finished goods per Unit of Measure.<\/li>\n<li>Providing quarterly updates on freight cost to Buyers.<\/li>\n<li>Establish a mandatory modus operandi, which to be followed by third parties providing shipping services to K-C and provides a mandate within which the parties will perform.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all the duties within the shipping function, i.e. manage shipping agents, tracking the entire shipment process, invoice approval, Statutory reports, insurance claims, Indent file control, applications to Board of Trade, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Weekly reporting to business on all Imported shipments.<\/li>\n<li>Weekly reporting to Planning on open orders not shipped according to required ship date.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure compliance with all customs, importation and financial regulation regarding importation of goods.<\/li>\n<li>Managing 3rd party shipping and clearing agents day to day performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Related Logistics qualification.<\/li>\n<li>5-7 years experience in imports and exports in logistics company or FMCG company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Global VISA and Relocation Specifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kimberly-Clark makes the essentials for a better life with well-known brands that matter every day \u2013 at home, school, work, and on the go.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/kimberlyclark.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com\/EMEA\/login?redirect=%2FEMEA%2Fjob%2FNigeria--Lagos%2FImport-and-Export-Coordinator_770985%2Fapply%3Fsource%3Dlinkedin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kimberly-Clark makes the essentials for a better life with well-known brands that matter every day \u2013 at home, school, work and on the go.
