The services consist of project management consultancy, construction and construction management, inspection, repair and maintenance, supply chain and inventory management, rope access. We are recruiting to fill the positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0IRATA Level 3 Supervisor, Welder\/Fabricator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Reference Code:\u00a0<\/strong>KGR\/RATL3\/09\/17<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:\u00a0<\/strong>Contract<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities\/Summary of Functions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a Rope Access L3 Supervisor as defined by IRATA for operations in conjunction with the duties of a Welder\/Fabricator<\/li>\n<li>Supervise all works on rope and ensure best safety practices<\/li>\n<li>Rig all ropes required to perform tasks on rope<\/li>\n<li>Sort and inspect all rope access equipment prior to mobilization\/ensure operational safety of all equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Be knowledgeable in on site fall protection, high angle rescue and rescue training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Co-ordinate the rescue team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Be able to handle welding repairs in difficult areas to access locations 4G-6G<\/li>\n<li>Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level I, II and III as an IRATA Certified Rope Access Technician<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and ensure the safety and performance of the level 1 and level 2 technicians in the team<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit reports on a timely basis<\/li>\n<li>Sign technicians\u2019IRATA log books<\/li>\n<li>Ensure correct fabrication by dimensional checks and visual inspection of welds<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to in order to ensure a safe working environment<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in safety meetings and tool box talks as required by Client<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and coordinate with the Company\u2019s project managers and other team members to maintain consistent workflow and Client\u2019s satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other task as directed by the Client<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements\/Qualification<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience: 8 years and above<\/li>\n<li>Experience inWelding\/Fabrication<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of OND<\/li>\n<li>IRATA Level 3 Certificate<\/li>\n<li>SAS &amp; HUET or BOSIET<\/li>\n<li>Offshore Safety Permit (DPR)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0IRATA Level 2, Welder\/Fabricator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Reference Code:\u00a0<\/strong>KGR\/RATL2\/09\/17<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Contract<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities\/Summary of Functions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare surface of hull area<\/li>\n<li>Overlay welding of the hull area<\/li>\n<li>Grind off slag after welding of each location<\/li>\n<li>Correct all welding defects<\/li>\n<li>Cut plate for overlay welding<\/li>\n<li>Carry out all workshop fabrication of pipes<\/li>\n<li>Carry out all sectional piping or structural replacements<\/li>\n<li>Carry out all welding and grinding in conformance with safety and quality standards<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and coordinate with the Company\u2019s Project Managers and other team members to maintain consistent workflow and Client\u2019s satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Report all incidents, accidents and near misses to the HSE Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in safety meetings and tool box talks as required by Client<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other task that may be required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements\/Qualification<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience: 4 years and above<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Welding\/Fabrication<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of OND<\/li>\n<li>IRATA Level 2 Certificate<\/li>\n<li>SAS &amp; HUET or BOSIET<\/li>\n<li>Offshore Safety Permit (DPR)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong>: Interested Candidates should send their resume to<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@karstoglobal.com\">recruitment@karstoglobal.com<\/a>.
