It has its headquarters in Wuerzburg, Germany.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting a suitably qualified and experienced person, to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Enugu<br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support state programmes in financial management and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and prepare accurate and timely financial reports and prepare ad hoc reports as needed for budgeting and planning purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly budget controls and assist in the preparation of biannual progress reports to headquarters.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with state teams and support other staff including mentoring them for effective operation of project activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure financial records are readily available for internal\/external reviewers and follow-up on internal\/external audit findings.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with internal control processes, adherence to donor financial regulations and ensure that all expenses are within approved project budget lines.<\/li>\n<li>Provide quality control checks ensuring that all valid financial transactions are entered into the accounting systems.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related tasks to be assigned by the Finance Officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of HND\/BSc in Accounting or Finance<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years of relevant working experience, preferably with an NGO<\/li>\n<li>Fully computer literate, excellent knowledge of MS Excel required<\/li>\n<li>Good written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abilities for teamwork and initiative<\/li>\n<li>Competence in modern training skills and)or ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Associate member of Institute of chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>The post requires occasional travel in country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV\u2019s and motivation letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:glranigacc2017@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>glranigacc2017@gmail.com<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only Candidates under Consideration will be contacted<\/li>\n<li>The interview will include a written test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>10th October, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>German Leprosy and TB Relief Association (GLRA) is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian, international non-governmental organisation founded in 1957.
