Our mission is to inspire and empower people around the world to make healthy choices for themselves and their families.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Social and Behaviour Change and Innovations Advisor<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\nReports to: Project Director<br \/>\n<strong>Project Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CCP will be implementing the USAID Breakthrough-ACTION-Nigeria project that will use state-of-the-art, evidence-based tools to encourage people in developing countries to adopt healthy behaviours.<\/li>\n<li>Much of the work will harness the power of communication \u2013 from mass media campaigns to TV and radio dramas to simple posters in a health clinic \u2013 to inspire long-lasting change.<\/li>\n<li>The project will also take advantage of other behavioural science approaches such as behavioural economics and human-centred design to improve programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This SBC Advisor will lead key activities and have overall responsibility for SBC implementation.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will possess both deep applied experience in SBC, and demonstrated abilities in leadership; strategic thinking; application of best practices, gender integration and innovations in SBC.<\/li>\n<li>Applying learnings from global best practices, s\/he will provide strategic direction for SBC programming, while proactively engaging and convening a broad range of donors and implementers in advancing the practice of SBC in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will represent Breakthrough-Action\/Nigeria to USAID and the GoN, and will cultivate open and collaborative management relationships with the management team at USAID\/Nigeria, as well as with other Mission-funded activities.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will have the principal responsibility for coordinating activities to improve alignment of SBC and supply-sided efforts.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will also possess experience and demonstrated success in cultivating partnerships with the private sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe proposed SBC Advisor must meet or exceed all of the following specific requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A senior technical expert with an advanced degree or commensurate experience<\/li>\n<li>At least 15 years\u2019 experience in international health programming, including experience providing technical guidance to large and complex activities primarily focused on SBC;<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to effectively engage partners, including host country government personnel;<\/li>\n<li>Experience interacting with U.S. government agencies including Missions.<\/li>\n<li>Experience designing and managing integrated or multi-health area SBC activities is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Must be fluent in written and spoken English and at least one local Nigerian language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Capacity Strengthening and Coordination Advisor<\/strong><br \/>\nLocation: Abuja<br \/>\nReports to: activities with particular attention to strengthening public sector systems for effective coordination of SBC at the national and sub-national levels, strengthening institutional capacity among key Nigerian stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will possess experience and demonstrated success in strengthening public sector capacity for SBC.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will possess a strong understanding of best practices in individual and institutional capacity strengthening for SBC, and will have personal experience in applying key approaches.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will represent Breakthrough-Action\/Nigeria to USAID and the GoN at national and subnational levels, and will cultivate open and collaborative management relationships with the management team at USAID\/Nigeria, and other Mission-funded activities.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will work with other senior staff to monitor activities and proactively engage, coordinate and convene public and private actors to advance the practice of SBC in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe proposed Capacity Strengthening and Coordination Advisor must meet or exceed all of the following specific requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A senior technical expert with an advanced degree in Public Health, Communication, or Marketing<\/li>\n<li>At least 10 years of experience working in international health, including experience in a technical leadership capacity on large activities focused primarily on social and behavior change.<\/li>\n<li>Must be fluent in written and spoken English and at least one local Nigerian language.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working across Nigerian government bodies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Director<\/strong><br \/>\nLocation: Abuja<br \/>\nReports to: Project Director<br \/>\n<strong>Project Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CCP will be implementing the USAID Breakthrough-ACTION-Nigeria project that will use the primary financial officer of the program.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he ensures that financial functions support the timely and effective implementation of the program\u2019s technical scope of work.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he ensures that resources are allocated and used in compliance with agreement requirements, applicable USG regulations, and appropriate standards and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>The Finance Director also oversees the timely issuance of sub-awards and contracts issued under the cooperative agreement and procurement of commercial goods and commercial services.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he also oversees cost share within the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe proposed Finance Director must meet or exceed all of the following specific requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Has a Master\u2019s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field;<\/li>\n<li>Has at least five (5) years\u2019 experience leading administration (reporting, financial management, and compliance) of large (defined here as having a life-of-project budget of $20M or more) health and development contracts or agreements that serve clients in developing countries;<\/li>\n<li>Has experience working in partnership with U.S. Government agencies or other large donor agencies; and<\/li>\n<li>Has achieved certifications\/completed trainings in financial and award management of USG grants and agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Must be fluent in written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Deputy Project Director<\/strong><br \/>\nLocation: Abuja<br \/>\nReports to: Project Director<br \/>\n<strong>Project Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CCP will be implementing the USAID Breakthrough-ACTION-Nigeria Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Deputy will oversee management and operations of the project as a whole.
