As a result of our expansion, we require vibrant, result-oriented and achievement driven individuals who seek to advance their careers in a dynamic environment to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Web Developer (PHP\/Magento)<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Web Developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development and maintenance of our E-Commerce and Corporate websites.<\/li>\n<li>He\/ She should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Magento CE 2.x development and advanced customization<\/li>\n<li>Multi-tenancy database design and programming<\/li>\n<li>Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.<\/li>\n<li>Working with Web development and Sales team to achieve common goal<\/li>\n<li>A\/B testing<\/li>\n<li>UAT across Mobile, Tablet and Desktop<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the backend<\/li>\n<li>UX development<\/li>\n<li>Complex Magento extension development to add custom functionalities in no time<\/li>\n<li>Designing and implementing new features and functionality<\/li>\n<li>Establishing and guiding the website\u2019s architecture<\/li>\n<li>Website speed optimization and performance on both mobile and desktop<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Code documentation, edit and update<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Computer Science degree or related course<\/li>\n<li>Certified Magento Developer and other relevant certifications is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Knowledge and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 years relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery<\/li>\n<li>Magento, WooCommerce, WordPress, Shopify, PHP and MySQL back-end development<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with responsive and adaptive design<\/li>\n<li>Advanced mobile theme development for Opera mini (extreme mode especially), UC, Safari, Iron, Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, and Android browsers<\/li>\n<li>Able to tweak and improve CMS themes and plugins into any complex requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of different website views based on Desktop or Mobile<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browser<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal Attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication skills (written and oral)<\/li>\n<li>Highly self-motivated and directed<\/li>\n<li>Keen attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional customer service orientation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s indicating the Job Title to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@pragmatictechnologies.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@pragmatictechnologies.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>27th October, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pragmatic Technologies \u2013 We are a leading niche technology player in retail and corporate markets for Inverters, Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR), Consumer Electronics and Home appliances.
