It\u2019s an on trade dominated market but with a fast growing off trade channel.<\/p>\n<p>Guinness Nigeria Plc isrecruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Maintenance Planner<\/strong><br \/>\nAutoReqId: 58596BR<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\nFunction: Supply Operations<br \/>\nLevel: Experienced Entry Level<br \/>\nReports To: Asset Care Manager<strong><br \/>\nContext\/Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nigeria is currently the world\u2019s third largest market for the Guinness Brand. Lagos, Benin and Aba Breweries. In Benin &amp; Lagos, Maintenance Planners are being appointed for each Packaging line and one for Brewing &amp; Utilities. In Aba, one Planner is being appointed to cover the site assets.<\/li>\n<li>They are required to provide high focus on maintenance activities, to assist with driving performance to World Class Standards.<\/li>\n<li>They will be responsible for ensuring all assets are included and maintained within a formal, structured Planned Maintenance System. The incumbent will report to the Asset Care Manager, with dotted line reporting to other HOD\u2019s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute the company maintenance strategy and procedures in response to plant performance and failures, in accordance with industry best practice and WCM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nLeads their section\/line maintenance agenda:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All Planners will report to the Asset Care Manager.<\/li>\n<li>They will also work closely with the respective HOD\u2019s, Engineers, Shift Managers, Electrical Services Engineer, Automation Engineer, Technical Operators and Maintenance Technicians in their respective areas\/lines.<\/li>\n<li>They will also liaise with Logistics, Stores, Procurement and Suppliers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Top Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage routine\/weekly Planned Maintenance activities for their area\/line by:\n<ul>\n<li>Developing project plan.<\/li>\n<li>Raising work orders<\/li>\n<li>Planning Resources (Capacity planning and workload reserve)<\/li>\n<li>Managing spares availability<\/li>\n<li>Reporting against KPIs<\/li>\n<li>Running reports on specified modules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Support management of shutdown Planned Maintenance activities for all equipment and labour in their area\/line, including ordering spares, progress chasing spares, issuing work orders, assembling parts packages and closing all work orders on completion.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all assets have planned maintenance schedules that are loaded into SAP and regularly updated.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and Maintain CMMS maintenance data, including rotables, equipment details and work order feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Tracking, reviewing and reporting of all maintenance activities against agreed KPIs and compliance requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering Graduate, preferable NSE accredited<\/li>\n<li>3-4 years\u2019 experience in a Brewery or FMCG manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of CMMS and maintenance systems, preferably SAP with some knowledge of engineering spares transactions and stores management.<\/li>\n<li>Conversant with GNPLC health, safety, environment &amp; hygiene policies.<\/li>\n<li>Has good interpersonal and communication skills and able to influence maintenance culture positively towards the site vision.<\/li>\n<li>Individual is computer literate, numerate and skilled in the normal business software tools of the modern working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of the fundamental principles of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and its application in a manufacturing industry, and knowledgeable in the theory and practice of BCM, Root Cause analysis and problem solving techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Effective project management, time management and prioritization skills, and able to interpret engineering information and issue effective reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sjobs.brassring.com\/tgwebhost\/jobdetails.aspx?jobid=2511569&amp;partnerid=11729&amp;siteid=208&amp;type=mail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guinness Nigeria Plc is a major market for Diageo: Guinness Nigeria operates in the unique and fast growing alcohol industry of over 15mhl beer potential.
