C-LAP is an Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) project. Project C-LAP is a blueprint for bringing about \u2018Agricultural Revolution\u2019 in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited for the positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Field Data Collector<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Nationwide<br \/>\n<strong>Slot:<\/strong> 3 for each LGA of the federation<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data collection, Data mining, Compilation, verification and sorting<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities<\/li>\n<li>Data Entry and Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all data collection protocols during data collection activities<\/li>\n<li>Submit report on the activities covered and completed in addition toother ad hoc reports as required<\/li>\n<li>Assist the senior officers in any other duty as may be assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WASC and above. Field experience in agricultural activities and data collection is an advantage. Intermediate computer skills are essential.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must reside in the LGA of interest, and should be able to communicate in the local language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Agriculture Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Nationwide<br \/>\n<strong>Slot:<\/strong> 1 for each LGA of the federation<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist Director of Farms (International Expert) in Strategy development and execution. Drive the management and communication plan for scheme activities and overall supervision of local staff.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge sharing with technical institutions\/ NGOs \/ Agribusiness support agencies and training of project staff<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and advise on global and regional agricultural research trends<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the supervision of the field activities<\/li>\n<li>Assist project management team on project execution<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the local farmers. Facilitate training and capacity building programs<\/li>\n<li>Assist in identifying land for farms, liaising with assigned LGA (Local Government Authority)<\/li>\n<li>Overall monitoring and supervision of the LGA activities under the project<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, review and analyze reports from field officers translating the report findings into actionable goals by the State Agricultural Expert.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree\/PG in Agriculture Sciences or related field, 5 years field experience, willing to travel extensively in rural areas.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must reside in the LGA of interest, and should be able to communicate in the local language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/c-lap.org\/vacancies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And Candidates must also submit hard copies of the applications to the office of the\u00a0<strong>LGA Chairman<\/strong>\u00a0of their Local Government Area of origin.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nNote:<\/strong>\u00a0Application received after the closing date above will not be considered.
