The companies\u2019 Oil &amp; Natural gas production activities contribute to one of the largest sources of revenue for the Nigerian government and economy.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Marine Operations Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a result of organizational growth, career opportunities exist for ambitious and result-oriented individuals.<\/li>\n<li>We are recruiting super caliber Marine Supervisor with the highest standards of integrity, capacity for hard work, ability to build strong working relationships and effectively interact in a multi-cultural environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The successful candidates will provide expert operability and maintainability input in all areas of marine operations and systems.<\/li>\n<li>This will include key areas such as stability and ballast control, crude storage and export, maintenance of all transfer hoses and CALM Buoy, as well as diesel &amp; methanol tandem loading and diesel transfer management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Role Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nOverall supervision of marine operations and maintenance on the FPSOs including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintenance of overall stability of the FPSOs<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Crude Lifting activities, which requires involvement with the various stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Inspection programs (Class and Flag)<\/li>\n<li>Management of field operational movements of the marine support fleet (PSV, Tugs, Surfers and Security vessels)<\/li>\n<li>Permit to Work System (PTWS) Area Authority for Hull &amp; Marine Systems<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance program and supervision of maintenance contractors for all marine systems, tank cleaning operations, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Crane Operations and materials movement<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing of loading and offloading to tankers via the CALM buoy or tandem offloading<\/li>\n<li>Export Operations systems including discharge pumps, inert gas, and metering<\/li>\n<li>Export documentation<\/li>\n<li>Tank Cleaning for sludge control and tank entry<\/li>\n<li>Offloading Procedures and Marine Terminal Handbook<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expected Level of Proficiency<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ideal candidates for the position must possess the following qualifications and skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc in Nautical Science with a minimum of Class 2 Certificate of Competency as Master Mariner (Unlimited tonnage, Foreign Going with Crude Liquid Petroleum Endorsement)<\/li>\n<li>Class 1 Certificate of Competency is preferable<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English<\/li>\n<li>NYSC discharge or exemption certificate<\/li>\n<li>Crude tanker experience, with at least five years as a Chief Officer, or similar experience on a FPSO<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity in Class Certification requirement (BV is preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Crude Oil Washing Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Dangerous Liquids Handling Certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Behavioral Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical<\/li>\n<li>Communicates Effectively<\/li>\n<li>Adapts<\/li>\n<li>REC \u2013 Interpersonal Effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Marine \u2013 Vessel Machinery and Equipment (Operation and Troubleshooting) (Marine Engine)<\/li>\n<li>Marine \u2013 Managing Liquids Transfer Operations (Cargo, Ballast and Fueling) (Marine Deck)<\/li>\n<li>Managing Marine Systems (Operation and Troubleshooting) (Marine Engine).<\/li>\n<li>Shows Initiative<\/li>\n<li>Applies Learning<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates<\/li>\n<li>Develops Others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The position offers competitive compensation and benefit package commensurate with what is obtainable in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.exxonmobil.com\/ExxonMobil\/job\/Lagos-Marine-Supervisor-LA\/435154800\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only short listed applicants will be contacted.
