{"id":43355,"date":"2017-10-11T15:20:58","date_gmt":"2017-10-11T14:20:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=43355"},"modified":"2017-10-11T12:54:53","modified_gmt":"2017-10-11T11:54:53","slug":"telemagic-new-position-available-apply-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/telemagic-new-position-available-apply-now.html","title":{"rendered":"TeleMagic New Position Available &#8211; Apply Now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TeleMagic is a Value Added Services (VAS) Provider Company licensed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to offer value-added services to the telecommunications industry, urgently requires experienced, dynamic and self-motivated individuals for the post below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Software\/Application Developer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nDevelopers should have the following skills and experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of PHP 5, with at least 4 years experience, and able to use object-oriented programming.<\/li>\n<li>Strong orientation towards code which executes fast and uses minimal resources.<\/li>\n<li>Good debugging and performance tuning skills, for mySQL.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of XMPP (Jabber) chat server and how to tune and build interfaces (Javascript based, event-based or PHP-API-based) for delivering user notifications.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge on using Photoshop, not for designing,but for Web Authoring.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge on HTML 4\/5 and CSS3.<\/li>\n<li>Able to self-manage, self-coordinate and propose solutions to existing problems, also predict possible issues.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work with a team and under management.<\/li>\n<li>Able to get accustomed to diverse tasks, many of which should be handed in parallel.<\/li>\n<li>Able to understand and accept the need for daily reporting of their assigned tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of Javascript and AJAX methods.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of JQuery.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in MVC,such as \u201cSmarty\u201d, not required.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in handling \u201cbig data\u201d and relevant experience in mySQL architectures, a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to get accustomed to and work with a custom application framework and without necessary having the entire source code of the project, but working in parts of it.<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong orientation towards security (filtering and validating user inputs, protection against XSS, cross-side-scripting, and so on).<\/li>\n<li>Coding with standards, clear and easy-to-read and to maintain.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Apache and .htaccess rewrite rules.<\/li>\n<li>Very good knowledge of mySQL: Able to deliver and adopt to very complex queries, including many tables and JOINs. Also able to suggest and deliver queries which will deliver data, according to proposed business logic.
