Created in 1975 by the merger of Ricard and Pernod, the Group has undergone sustained development, based on both organic growth and acquisitions: Seagram (2001), Allied Domecq (2005) and Vin &amp; Sprit (2008).<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Demand and Supply Planner<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref No:<\/strong> FIN01948<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\nPosition: International Graduate VIE<br \/>\nJob: Finance<br \/>\nJob Type: Cooperative \/ Graduate Job<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><br \/>\nSufficient stock available in the warehouses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demand planning:\n<ul>\n<li>Demand forecast planning done in conjunction with sales budgets<\/li>\n<li>Replenishment and Shipment forecasts done in conjunction with demand forecasts and sales budgets to ensure sufficient stock levels<\/li>\n<li>Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.<\/li>\n<li>Alongside team, develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function \u2013 i.e. clear phasing of demand plan by SKU<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).<\/li>\n<li>Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used in demand forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Working with Supply Chain Manager take ownership of S&amp;OP with all relevant stakeholders \u2013 present monthly analysis and updates on the past month<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Planning:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning optimization:\n<ul>\n<li>Inventories) and propose\/refines the plan<\/li>\n<li>Participates in key decision making (e.g., sales and operations planning) in order to integrate planning and operational constraints (financial, service, time)<\/li>\n<li>Reports on performance, KPIs (product availability) and adapts plans to meet targets<\/li>\n<li>Improve processes, methods systems planning optimization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Supply planning:\n<ul>\n<li>Working with Supply Chain Manager and CFO on development of short and long-term supply plans to balance the demand forecast with cost, efficiency and capacity constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates cross functional resolution of day to day issues related to supply and demand discrepancies, ensures effective \u201clesson learned\u201d documentation \u2013 e.g OOS situations<\/li>\n<li>Manage metrics to monitor BO performance (KPI\u2019s)<\/li>\n<li>Complete special projects and assignments as requested<\/li>\n<li>Planning delivery timetables \u2013 for both Inbound stock<\/li>\n<li>Proactively report SKU availability issues \u2013 at both warehouse and brand owner level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with different departments:\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in monthly internal S&amp;OP planning meetings and provide feedback to stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who Can Apply to this Position?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>European citizens aged between 18-28 years old and having recently graduated from a University\/Business School are eligible to apply to this position.<\/li>\n<li>This is a V.I.E \/ International Graduate position based in Lagos, Nigeria and lasts for 18 months .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master Degree, Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar<\/li>\n<li>International Mindset (have studied or worked abroad)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of supply\/demand\/replenishment forecast planning\/forecast tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, JDE, NAVISION).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Functional and Technical Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Risk Management, Operational Performance Optimization, Operations Planning Optimization, Process Management, Business &amp; Financial Acumen, Customer Service &amp; Quality Orientation, Project Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Behavioral Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Problem Solving, Commercial Awareness, Teamwork, Influencing Skills, Building and Maintaining.
