Total Nigeria recruits Subsea Inspection Engineer to be based in Port Harcourt Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This job is within the framework of the AKPO Operations. AKPO is a large deep sea oil &amp; gas field, integrating subsea wells, flowlines, risers, a FPSO, an off-loading buoy, export lines and their associates facilities. The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Prepare and implement Subsea inspection plans<br \/>\n\u2022 Compile and maintain an up to date asset register for Subsea production facilities (Subsea wells, manifolds, flowlines , steel catenaries risers)<br \/>\n\u2022 Issue the procedures and task plans of intervention for subsea inspection and monitoring activities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage the Inspection Plans scheduling with the dedicated Data Base (CMMS SAP).<br \/>\n\u2022 Schedule the subsea inspection operations in relation with Offshore subsea supervisors and OIMR vessel<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise the Subsea inspection operations on Site (FPSO and OIMR Vessel).<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that Inspections and Non Destructive Testing are fully implemented by contracted companies in compliance with the relevant Safety Rules, Inspection Plans and Technical Procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that cathodic protection monitoring program is fully implemented and assess the results.<br \/>\n\u2022 Report the inspection findings (equipment condition, observations, measurements) with pre-defined Inspection Reports and dedicated Data Base (CMMS SAP)<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage Subseas equipment integrity<br \/>\n\u2022 Assess the inspection results and analyze the inspection findings.<br \/>\n\u2022 Propose corrective or preventive actions (modification of inspection plan, material selection, design of equipment, coating, cathodic protection, operating conditions )<br \/>\n\u2022 Issue the recommendations for maintenance actions or interventions using the dedicated Data Base (CMMS SAP) and ensure they are completed with the adequate level of priority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal applicant should have a BSc. in Engineering with background in metallurgy or mechanical or materials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate should have excellent command of written and spoken English, good communication skills.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Subsea Inspection Engineer vacancies in Nigeria, Jobs in Nigeria by Joblist Nigeria\" href=\"http:\/\/www.careers.total.com\/careersFO\/careers\/resultatRechercheOffre?CTRL_ID=5&amp;FORM_ACTION=CONSULTER_OFFRE&amp;OFF_ID=10012265&amp;$DTO_SESSION$LANGUE_0=EN&amp;$DTO_RO$PAY_ID_0=108&amp;$DTO_RO$SPY_ID_0=&amp;$DTO_RO$TDI_ID_0=&amp;$DTO_RO$OFF_ID_0=&amp;$DTO_RO$MOT_CLE_0=&amp;$DTO_RO$BRN_ID_0=\">Apply to Total Nigeria vacancy by clicking here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TOTAL is an international, diverse, technology-driven, ethical energy business for the modern world.
