It grants Scholarship awards to deserving indigenes in various tertiary institutions for full time studies in order to assist these students financially.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited for:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lagos State Undergraduate Scholarship Award Scheme 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Process for Eligibility for Local Under-Graduate Scholarship Award<br \/>\nThis Scholarship Scheme is for Lagos State indigenes only studying in any tertiary institution across the country.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All applicants must have gained full time admission into an accredited Nigerian tertiary Institution.<\/li>\n<li>All Under-graduate applicants:\n<ul>\n<li>Where CGPA scale is 7.0 (e.g University of Ibadan) he \/she must possess a minimum of 4.9\/7.0<\/li>\n<li>Where CGPA scale is 5.0 (e.g University of Lagos) he \/she must possess a minimum of 3.5\/5.0<\/li>\n<li>Where CGPA scale is 4.0 (e.g polytechnics and colleges of education) he \/she must possess a Minimum of 2.8\/4.0<\/li>\n<li>Where applicant is a medical student in 200L,\u00a0 option i, ii and iii applies<\/li>\n<li>Where applicant is a medical student in 300L and above a minimum of Credit is required in their result<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>All applicants must be in their second year or above (i.e admitted on or before 2015\/2016 academic session).<\/li>\n<li>All applicants must have completed LASRRA Registration<\/li>\n<li>All applicants must have a signed letter of identification from their respective Oba<\/li>\n<li>All applicants must have a signed letter of identification from their respective local government<\/li>\n<li>All applicants must purchase a Scholarship application form. (Payment of N2,000.00 for Local Scholarship) through Revenue Office of the Lagos State Scholarship Board.<\/li>\n<li>All applicants must upload clear scanned copies of all documents to ascertain the genuineness of their claims. Documents like:\n<ul>\n<li>Admission Letter<\/li>\n<li>School Identity Card or Valid means of school identification<\/li>\n<li>Letter of identification from Oba<\/li>\n<li>Letter of identification from Local Government<\/li>\n<li>SSCE result<\/li>\n<li>Lagos State Resident Registration Agency(LASSRA) registration card<\/li>\n<li>Passport Photograph (clear background not older than three months).<\/li>\n<li>Transcript or Result statement duly signed and stamped from school stating previous session CGPA results clearly<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of Consolidated Payment Confirmation Slip.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Shortlisted\u00a0 applicant must participate in a Computer Based Test conducted by Dragnet Solutions Limited in conjunction with Lagos State Scholarship Board.<\/li>\n<li>Successful tested applicants will be contacted for oral interview<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Before Applying Please Read<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicant must be a Lagos State Indigene studying in any tertiary institutions across the country<\/li>\n<li>All applicants are required to make a Payment of N2,000.00 for Local Scholarship through the Revenue Office of the Lagos State Scholarship Board.<\/li>\n<li>Then take the payconfirmation receipt to the Lagos State Scholarship Board to secure their secret voucher pins for online application. Thereafter, have clear scanned copies of the following documents:\n<ul>\n<li>Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)<\/li>\n<li>Treasury receipt of N2,000 for the scholarship form<\/li>\n<li>Admission Letter<\/li>\n<li>School Identity Card<\/li>\n<li>SSCE Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Letter of identification from Oba<\/li>\n<li>Letter of identification from Local Government<\/li>\n<li>LASSRA registration card<\/li>\n<li>Transcript or Statement of Results duly signed and stamped from school stating previous session CGPA results clearly<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of Consolidated Payment Confirmation Slip<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that information are filled accurately to avoid mix up after application<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents during upload<\/li>\n<li>Ensure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>After reading the above, candidates should follow the procedure below:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on\u00a0<strong>\u201capplication Link above\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click on\u00a0<strong>\u201cRegister Now\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0to create an account.<\/li>\n<li>Proceed to your email box to activate your account<\/li>\n<li>Click on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scholastica.ng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.scholastica.ng<\/a>\u00a0to return to Scholarship site<\/li>\n<li>Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your personal information, additional information, educational information, other information and upload required scanned documents.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order.
