{"id":4376,"date":"2010-05-25T13:14:26","date_gmt":"2010-05-25T12:14:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=4376"},"modified":"2016-11-22T13:26:13","modified_gmt":"2016-11-22T12:26:13","slug":"total-nigeria-vacancies-government-relations-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/total-nigeria-vacancies-government-relations-officer.html","title":{"rendered":"Total Nigeria Vacancies: Government Relations Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/total.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3662\" title=\"total\" src=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/total.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"77\" height=\"59\" \/><\/a>Total Nigeria <\/strong>recruits Government Relations Officer to be based in Port Harcourt Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>The successful candidate will be required to:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Liaise with all tiers of top government functionaries (Executives and members of the States Assemblies) of both Rivers and Akwa Ibom States<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop and manage databases (Profiles\/CVs) for Rivers and Akwa Ibom State Governments &#8211; Executive and Legislative<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare monthly analysis of Political, Economic and Business Intelligence concerning Rivers and Akwa Ibom States<br \/>\n\u2022 Establish and maintain an events calendar for critical Rivers and Akwa Ibom States Government contacts.<br \/>\n\u2022 Organize Interactive Sessions, conferences, seminars for the Executive and Legislature.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage travel arrangements for top Government functionaries in Rivers and Akwa Ibom States on TEPNG\u2019s sponsorships or invitations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Establish comprehensive database and details on the activities of Rivers and Akwa Ibom States Assemblies and their relevant Committees.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor and analyse Legislative Bills (Industry related and Industry specific) in the Rivers and Akwa Ibom States Assemblies and forward early warning signs as they affect TEPNG.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage corporate events in Rivers and Akwa Ibom States<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head, Public Affairs<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal applicant should be a Bachelors degree holder in Law, Mass Communication or any of the disciplines in the Social Sciences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal applicant should possess:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills .<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent IT skills including knowledge of MS Office.
