We are the first authentic and independently-driven online medium of interface between citizens and elected representatives in Parliament and in this way, deepen democratic growth and development in the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB TITLE:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Social Media Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><br \/>\nWe\u2019re seeking a Social Media Assistant based in Abuja to join our social team on full time basis. The team work seven days a week to share OrderPaper\u2019s stories in fun, creative, insightful and engaging ways. We\u2019re looking for highly motivated, imaginative, resourceful individuals, with a strong working knowledge of social media platforms. You will need to be able to produce sharply-written, engaging, clickable posts \u2013 all promoting the OrderPaper\u2019s content, encouraging engagements and helping create a OrderPaper community across social networks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Play a key role in the ongoing development and execution of OrderPaper\u2019s social media strategy<\/li>\n<li>Lead The OrderPaper\u2019s adoption of emerging social platforms and tools, and take responsibility for the growth of OrderPaper\u2019s new social channels<\/li>\n<li>Work directly with editorial and graphics teams, ensuring their respective demands are met<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the newsroom has sufficient insight to produce Internet-friendly stories, and take responsibility for their subsequent distribution on social media channels<\/li>\n<li>Edit and maintain OrderPaper\u2019s social media channels to a high standard<\/li>\n<li>Focus on targets and be clear of what is required in order to meet them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>MUST HAVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience within a Social Media Internship\/ Work Experience<\/li>\n<li>Good writing\/blogging skills<\/li>\n<li>Great communication and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of paid social media and audiences targeting strategies<\/li>\n<li>Hands on attitude and ability to work across multiple projects with short lead times<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills (ideally including familiarity with web analytics tools)<\/li>\n<li>Competent with Photoshop\/InDesign and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Strong collaboration skills and experience with working as a team player<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nIf the role fits you, then don\u2019t delay, apply now! please send your CV (including your Twitter handle) and a cover letter to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:admin@orderpaper.ng\">admin@orderpaper.ng<\/a>\u00a0on or before 27<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0October, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OrderPaper Nigeria is the Nigeria\u2019s premier multi-platform media organization dedicated to reporting, tracking and archiving activities of the legislature as an arm of government for the digital age.
