{"id":44048,"date":"2017-10-26T09:20:55","date_gmt":"2017-10-26T08:20:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=44048"},"modified":"2017-10-25T15:14:58","modified_gmt":"2017-10-25T14:14:58","slug":"association-reproductive-family-health-new-vacancies-2-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/association-reproductive-family-health-new-vacancies-2-positions.html","title":{"rendered":"Association for Reproductive and Family Health New Vacancies [2 Positions]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) is one of the leading Nigerian Non-Governmental Organizations implementing programs for improving Reproductive Health and Family planning (RH\/FP), Care and Treatment of HIV\/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) and Malaria etc. We offer professional opportunities for career advancement, good working environment and competitive remuneration.<\/p>\n<p>We seek applications from qualified candidates for the below position under the Global Fund Tuberculosis (TB) Grant- New Funding Model and the Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV\/AIDS (SIDHAS) project-USAID funded:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Accountant \u2013 NTBLCP (TB Grant)<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\nType of Appointment: Full Time Contract.<br \/>\nDuration: Two (2) months, till December 31st 2017 (renewable.)<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting to the National Coordinator (NTBLCP) as well as collaborating with ARFH Director of Finance and Admin.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She collaborates with the program staff and Global Fund Fiduciary Agent to ensure effective financial support, grants management and budgeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support in the preparation of budget and cash flow for programme implementation and prepare the budget tracking analysis, determining variance analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the NTBLCP finance staff in preparation of vouchers, cheques and receipts.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with internal control processes, adherence to donor financial regulations and that all expenses are within approved project budget lines.<\/li>\n<li>Provide quality control checks ensuring that all valid financial transactions are entered into the accounting systems.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare accurate, regular and timely financial reports for submission to ARFH and the donor, using the office QuickBooks accounting software.<\/li>\n<li>Review the retirements of advances of staff for training, M&amp;E etc. on the financial reports to ensure that financial reports; are timely with valid documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with all outstanding advances to staff and project partners, to ensure timely and proper retirements.<\/li>\n<li>Support in managing all project assets and stock items, ensuring satisfactory level of accountability and internal control at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support for audit processes both internal and external for NTBLCP and projects.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain working relationship with banks to ensure timely banking transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with program team, Global Fund Fiduciary agent and support other staff including mentoring for effective operation of ARFH and project activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relationship with external auditors, suppliers, banks etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of HND\/ B.Sc degree in Accounting and ACA\/ACCA\/CPA.<\/li>\n<li>Must also have at least six years working experience with Non-Governmental organizations, with skills in QuickBooks, Microsoft excel, words and power-point.<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of internal control systems, financial audit processes, grant management systems and accounting procedures for Global Fund projects is essential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Manager \u2013 SIDHAS Project<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\nReports to: the Director of Finance and Administration<br \/>\nType of Appointment: Full Time Contract<br \/>\nDuration: Eight ( 8) months, till June 30th, 2018<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position oversees financial assessment, budget preparation, financial monitoring, risk management, donor reporting and all financial and management accounting duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical support for strategic analysis;
