{"id":44364,"date":"2017-11-02T12:57:41","date_gmt":"2017-11-02T11:57:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=44364"},"modified":"2017-11-02T12:58:30","modified_gmt":"2017-11-02T11:58:30","slug":"amber-residence-limited-vacancy-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/amber-residence-limited-vacancy-available.html","title":{"rendered":"Amber Residence Limited Vacancy Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amber Residence Limited \u2013 We are one of the leading and fastest growing hotel and leisure groups in Africa with business and resort destinations throughout Ghana, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Guest Service Agent<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Front Office Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient overall day \u2013 to \u2013 day operations of the Front desk including reservations.<\/li>\n<li>Provide excellent customer service per the standards of the Residence, and assist in situations to ensure customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure guest requests, inquiries and concerns are addressed and completed in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the supervision and preparation of function sheets with the delivery and execution of guest welcome letters and profile updating.<\/li>\n<li>Review guest special requests and ensure they are met or exceeded.<\/li>\n<li>Working with all departments in the Residence to ensure we meet or exceed guests\u2019 expectations and all guests\u2019 billing is accurate and up to date at time of departure.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a liaison with the Sale\u2019s team, Food &amp; Beverage, Facility and Housekeeping teams to ensure clear communication.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the administration and management of the Front Office, including but not limited to scheduling.<\/li>\n<li>Make reservations over the phone and in person<\/li>\n<li>Run daily reports to check reservations for accuracy and identify any special requests<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring it balances correctly at the end of shift<\/li>\n<li>Anticipate and address guest\u2019s service needs<\/li>\n<li>Listen to guest\u2019s complaints or concern and resolve their issue in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Promote a safe working environment<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate Residence emergency procedures within the scope of defined plans.<\/li>\n<li>Engage in the preparation and rendition of returns, reports and other assignments as required by Management.<\/li>\n<li>Engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests<\/li>\n<li>Perform accurate check-ins and checkouts of guests daily<\/li>\n<li>Answer the telephone in a timely and professional manner<\/li>\n<li>Performs any additional tasks which are assigned by management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Qualification: Degree in any Social Sciences discipline<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate must have excellent command of the English language is essential, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate should be able to work with little supervision and must be self motivated.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate must have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
