In Nigeria, SOS Children\u2019s Villages has been active since 1973 and has presence in Isolo-Lagos, Owu-Ijebu, Ogun State, Gwagwalada-Abuja, Jos-Plateau State, Ibadan-Oyo State and Kaduna-Kaduna State.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0National Maintenance Coordinator<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The overview of the job role is to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the organization\u2019s facilities.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will ensure that the colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation as well as oversee all installation, repair and upkeep of the organization\u2019s facilities<\/li>\n<li>Monitor equipment inventory and expenses and control the budget for maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities and ensure health and safety policies are complied with.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong background in planning maintenance operations, good understanding of technical aspects of building maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>At least B.Sc\/HND in Facility Management\/ Engineering<\/li>\n<li>3 years proven experience as maintenance coordinator or other supervisory role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sosvillages-nigeria.org\/jobs-2\/national-maintenance-coordinator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>9th November, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOS Childrens Villages work in more than 133 countries to support families and help children at risk grow up in a loving home.
