{"id":44494,"date":"2017-11-06T11:21:58","date_gmt":"2017-11-06T10:21:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=44494"},"modified":"2017-11-06T11:21:58","modified_gmt":"2017-11-06T10:21:58","slug":"nigeria-internet-registration-association-latest-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/nigeria-internet-registration-association-latest-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"Nigeria Internet Registration Association Latest Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lohi Consulting Services Limited \u2013 Our client, Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) is an independent not-for-profit, self regulatory and self governing organization founded on March 23, 2005 as a stakeholder-led organization, charged with the responsibility of managing the \u201c.ng\u201d country code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) name space in the public interest of Nigerians and global internet community.<\/p>\n<p>The Association seeks energetic and self motivated personnel to fill the vacant position within the organization below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Software Developer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nReporting to the Head Technical Services, whilst working with a team of other developers on diverse projects, the Software Developer will be primarily responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing current application software<\/li>\n<li>Presenting ideas for system improvements<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining systems\/applications once they are up and running<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with clients and other programmers to design and implement features<\/li>\n<li>Promptly producing well-organized, optimized, and documented source code<\/li>\n<li>Documentation of software tools and user manual for each project<\/li>\n<li>Working independently when required<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with staff on systems improvement<\/li>\n<li>Producing detailed specifications and writing program codes<\/li>\n<li>Debugging existing source code<\/li>\n<li>Testing the product in a controlled, real situations before going live<\/li>\n<li>Continuously learning and improving IT skills; and<\/li>\n<li>Carry out any other task as assigned by the Head, Technical Services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Attributes and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science\/ Electrical or Electronic Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with debian operating system<\/li>\n<li>Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in current computer hardware and software installation<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)<\/li>\n<li>Good Team spirit<\/li>\n<li>SDLC skills\/SDLC agile<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Work experience in a highly professional, close-knit, team-focused environment<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 4-6 years progressive work experience in a related field<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with C#, C++, PHP, HTML, .NET, and Java programming language<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with databases (Postresql, Mysql, MSsql), data manipulation languages and the principles of database design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Curriculum Vitae to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:vacancies@lohiconsult.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>vacancies@lohiconsult.ng<\/strong><\/a>using position applied for as subject of the email<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lohi Consulting Services Limited \u2013 Our client, Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) is an independent not-for-profit, self regulatory and self governing organization founded on March 23, 2005 as a stakeholder-led&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[2690],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
