{"id":44708,"date":"2017-11-09T15:00:13","date_gmt":"2017-11-09T14:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=44708"},"modified":"2017-11-09T13:25:19","modified_gmt":"2017-11-09T12:25:19","slug":"university-ilorin-teaching-hospital-new-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/university-ilorin-teaching-hospital-new-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital New Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Management of University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State, hereby invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Chief Medical Director\/CEO<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Ilorin, Kwara\u00a0<strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Chief Medical Director is the Head\/Chief Executive of the institution.<\/li>\n<li>He is accountable to the Board of Management and the Honorable Minister of Health.<\/li>\n<li>The Chief Medical Director is charged with the responsibility for the execution of policies and matters affecting the day-to-day management of the affairs of the Hospital.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested Candidates must have the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must be Medical or Dental practitioners registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria of not less than twelve (12) years Post graduation;<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must be fellows of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African Postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent register-able by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria;<\/li>\n<li>Additional administrative qualification is an added advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must have been Consultants for a minimum of five (5) years;<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must be medically fit;<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must be of proven good character and integrity;<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Experience\/Medical research is an added advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Computer\/Information and Communication Technology is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Attraction of funded grants by an individual candidate is an added advantage,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary &amp; Allowances<\/strong><br \/>\nSalary and allowances will be in accordance with the Public Service Salary Structure for this category of Officer.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should submit twenty (20) copies of their Application Letters and Curriculum Vitae in a sealed envelope addressed to:<br \/>\n<strong>The Director of Administration,<br \/>\nUniversity Of Ilorin Teaching Hospital,<br \/>\nP.M.B. 1459,<br \/>\nIlorin,<br \/>\nKwara State.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates should also enclose his\/her Vision Statement for the Hospital in the next four (4) years in not more than 1000 words.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Curriculum Vitae must include the names and addresses of three (3) referees, one of whom must be a Senior Medical or Dental Practitioner of NOT LESS than twenty (20) years post qualification experience and who should be in a position to attest to the candidate\u2019s academic, professional and managerial abilities as well as moral character and uprightness.
