NoneLength of contract: 6 months<br \/>\nPossibility for extension: YES<br \/>\nSlot: 2<br \/>\n<strong>Job Tasks<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder the supervision of the Sexual Reproductive Health Supervisor, the Midwife will be responsible for the following main activities in order to ensure the quality of care in the mobile clinics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provision of free of charge reproductive health consultations<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of health education<\/li>\n<li>Health consultations<\/li>\n<li>Prepare all the material and equipment and ensure that everything is ready before starting the activities<\/li>\n<li>Follow the basic medical rules of hygiene when performing reproductive health consultations<\/li>\n<li>Participate actively in triage activities before to start reproductive health consultations<\/li>\n<li>Perform antenatal consultations according to the protocols , detect and mention all the risk factors<\/li>\n<li>Perform postnatal consultations during the 6 weeks following the delivery, give appropriate treatment and refers to female medical doctor when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Perform family planning consultations and counseling according to protocol<\/li>\n<li>Give systematic prophylactic treatments to pregnant women<\/li>\n<li>Refer to the female medical doctor all pregnant women with a pathology associated to the pregnancy<\/li>\n<li>Verify the tetanus vaccination of each pregnant woman<\/li>\n<li>Explain in details the treatment to the patient<\/li>\n<li>Manage RH emergency cases with the assistance of the medical doctor according to MdM protocols and regulation<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the reproductive health form for each patient<\/li>\n<li>Ensure patient confidentiality is respected and treat all the patients with respect and dignity<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of health education sessions<\/li>\n<li>Give health education sessions to the patients in the different waiting areas<\/li>\n<li>Spread main messages about health education for the following topics: immunization, antenatal care, post-natal care, assisted delivery, family planning, at-risk pregnancies, breastfeeding and weaning<\/li>\n<li>Collection, computerization and analysis of weekly epidemiological data<\/li>\n<li>Perform the daily data collection regarding reproductive health consultations<\/li>\n<li>Participate to the weekly computerization and analysis of the reproductive health data<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and attendance to different meetings<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a weekly the health Program Coordinator, the Medical Supervisor will be responsible for the following main activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise the day-to-day activities of one of MDMs field clinics<\/li>\n<li>Act as focal point for the clinic in the field<\/li>\n<li>Providing technical and operational support to mobile clinic staff and\/or OTP staff<\/li>\n<li>Management and leadership of Clinic team<\/li>\n<li>Collection and analysis of health &amp; pharmaceutical data<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the development of coherent project implementation strategy<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and attendance to different meetings<\/li>\n<li>Manage Community Health Workers<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with medical trainers to ensure the delivery of quality SRH, CMAM, PHC services to the target population<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Task Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing technical support to mobile clinic staff<\/li>\n<li>Train MC staff on medical protocols including hygiene protocols<\/li>\n<li>Ensure use and respect of medical protocols through observation and supervision of medical and paramedics staff<\/li>\n<li>Implement regular on-the-job trainings and supportive supervision according to a weekly\/monthly schedule<\/li>\n<li>Train and supervise CHW working in mobile clinic areas<\/li>\n<li>Establish mechanisms of providing regular weekly\/monthly feedback on statistics and health activities to Clinic Staff<\/li>\n<li>Plan and implement thematic capacity building or specific trainings according to the identified needs for MC staff and\/or OTP staff<\/li>\n<li>Participate in establishing\/improving referral system<\/li>\n<li>Supervise drugs stock management in mobile clinics and OTP<\/li>\n<li>Work in close collaboration with the MDM medical trainers to ensure comprehensive on-the-job training for each of the specialities: SRH, PHC, EPI, Nutrition, LAB,<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and support the implementation of best practices introduced by trainers and HPC<\/li>\n<li>Operational Management of Clinic team<\/li>\n<li>Act as focal point for liaison with community leaders and representatives in clinic area of operation<\/li>\n<li>Lead on coordination with other actors, including UN, INGO and GoN, in clinic area of operation<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular, timely updates to Health Programme Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Organize the weekly schedule of the Clinic team to ensure the smooth running of the activities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Clinic medical and paramedics staff respect their assigned tasks<\/li>\n<li>Provide strong leadership to ensure Clinic staff understand and work according to MdM principles<\/li>\n<li>Collection and analysis of health &amp; pharmaceutical data<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the implementation of data collection protocols, working closely with the database officer and HPC<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate collection of MC\/OTP data<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the drugs consumption by establishing\/maintaining mechanisms of consumption record and inform the Health Program Coordinator and Pharmacist in case of any unusual consumption, or stock shortages<\/li>\n<li>Identify and rectify gaps or weaknesses in medical activities by using monitoring and supervision tools<\/li>\n<li>Ensure rapid communication of suspect communicable disease to HPC<\/li>\n<li>Developing coherent project implementation strategy<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing and implementing operational action plan for MC and\/or OT component in collaboration with MdM coordination team<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the implementation of the consultations<\/li>\n<li>Participate actively in triage activities before to start curative health consultations<\/li>\n<li>Perform curative consultations:<\/li>\n<li>Take a proper medical history including:<\/li>\n<li>Reason for consultation<\/li>\n<li>Duration of the illness or complaints<\/li>\n<li>Main symptoms<\/li>\n<li>Past medical history and treatment.<\/li>\n<li>Perform a correct physical examination:<\/li>\n<li>Inspection, auscultation, percussion, palpation<\/li>\n<li>Systematic checking of signs of severity<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose and treat the diseases according to protocols in use (i.e. clinical guidelines)<\/li>\n<li>Write the most important complaints, signs, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment on the patient\u2019s registration form.<\/li>\n<li>Explain the treatment to the patient<\/li>\n<li>Give individual health education related to the patient\u2019s disease<\/li>\n<li>Manage emergency cases according to MdM protocols and regulation<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the registration form for each patient, according to the diagnosis of the morbidity surveillance form<\/li>\n<li>Check the immunization status for all EPI targeted children and referred the unvaccinated children to the vaccinator<\/li>\n<li>Investigate any information regarding unusual health events or diseases outbreak, provided through any source<\/li>\n<li>Ensure patient confidentiality is respected and treat all the patients with respect and dignity<\/li>\n<li>Admission, weekly medical follow-up and discharge of the malnourished children in OTP program<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all the 6-59 months children have been screened (MUAC, H\/W and edemas)<\/li>\n<li>Admit new cases in OTP program according to the criteria\u2019s of national nutrition protocol and give systematic treatment for SAM casesEnsure weekly follow up of SAM cases and adapt RUTF doses<\/li>\n<li>Discharge cases according to the criteria\u2019s of national nutrition protocol<\/li>\n<li>Refer complicated SAM cases to identified Stabilization Center<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the specific OTP form<\/li>\n<li>Collection, computerization and analysis of weekly epidemiological data<\/li>\n<li>Perform the daily data collection regarding curative consultations<\/li>\n<li>Participate to the weekly computerization and analysis of the medical data<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and attendance to different
