FHI 360 serves more than 60 countries and all U.S. states and territories.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Assistant Technical Officer-Primary Health Care<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref No<\/strong>: 18756<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ngala, Borno<strong><br \/>\nProject Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Northeast Nigeria is currently facing a growing humanitarian crisis with a vast number of Internally Displaced Persons in need of emergency assistance.<\/li>\n<li>FHI 360 is expanding its expertise by responding to this humanitarian crisis through integrated WASH, Health and Protection interventions<\/li>\n<li>These IDPs are living among host communities, lacking access to livelihoods and resources, ultimately leading to unprecedented levels of malnutrition and food insecurity.<\/li>\n<li>FHI 360 has been working in Nigeria for over 30 years and is now expanding activities in Borno state to respond to the IDP crisis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ATO-Primary Health Care will provide programmatic and operational support in one of the three field sites\u2019s health clinics.<\/li>\n<li>Under the supervision of the Primary Health Care Coordinator, the s\/he will manage all activities related to the health clinic while ensuring the quality of services are delivered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide day to day operational and programmatic support to health clinic.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees all aspects of assigned field site\u2019s PHC activities.<\/li>\n<li>Works closely with assigned team to ensure activities are implemented according to standard operating procedures (SOP\u2019s).<\/li>\n<li>Build capacity of Community Health Workers (CHWs) through organized trainings.<\/li>\n<li>Serves as company liaison to external organizations at coordination meetings and conference as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MB.BS\/MD\/PHD or similar degree with 1 to 2 years\u2019 relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of RH in humanitarian relief settings.<\/li>\n<li>Possession of an MPH or post graduate degree in a related field is required.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/fhi.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/FHI_360_External_Career_Portal\/job\/Maiduguri-Nigeria\/Assistant-Technical-Officer-Primary-Health-Care-Ngala_18756-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to Apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>24th November, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions.
