Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref Id:<\/strong> 01\/17 KDN<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Kaduna<br \/>\nGrade: A1 (L)<br \/>\nType of Position: Fixed Term<br \/>\nDuration of Post: 5 months<br \/>\nStart Date: 18th December, 2017<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Purpose of Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day to day running of the Kaduna Residence.<\/li>\n<li>This should have been in liaison with a Residence Manager but in the absence of one will be reporting to the Corporate Services Officer and supported by the Residence Manager in Abuja.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To manage, coordinate and supervise the Residence team to ensure the upkeep, smooth and efficient running of the Residence.<\/li>\n<li>Act as the focal point for the planning, organisation and coordination of all events held at the residence.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate through the Residence Assistant all maintenance requests to ensure that issues are quickly addressed.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Residence Assistant in managing accommodation requests.<\/li>\n<li>Managing the Residence booking list.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinating British High Commission functions held at the Kaduna Residence.<\/li>\n<li>Answering telephone calls and receiving visitors.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with the contract cleaners on the day to day management of the Residence.<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with customer queries in the Office Manager\u2019s absence.<\/li>\n<li>Weekly Inspection of the Residence and Grounds<\/li>\n<li>Provide Line Management responsibility to 4 Residence staff.<\/li>\n<li>Daily signing of all the log books with guards<\/li>\n<li>To prepare monthly budget spend and submit to budget holders<\/li>\n<li>To submit supplier\u2019s invoice monthly for payments.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the stock in the miscellaneous store.<\/li>\n<li>Managing the cashbox and completing the NPA spreadsheet.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as tasked.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\nEssential qualifications and experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good accounting skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable qualifications and experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good Administrative and drafting skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in managing a small team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading and Communicating, Collaborating and Partnering, Managing a Quality Service, Delivering at
