From aircraft engines and power generation to financial services, medical imaging, television programming and oil and gas, GE operates in more than 100 countries and employs over 300,000 people worldwide.<br \/>\n(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ge.com\/\">www.ge.com<\/a>) <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>GE Oil &amp; Gas<\/strong> is looking to recruit a <strong>Lead Contract Performance Manager<\/strong>.\u00a0Reporting operationally to the Project Manager and functionally supported by the Commercial Director, the job holder is responsible for providing commercial leadership and direction within a multi discipline subsea project, sharing responsibility for the contractual and financial delivery of the project in accordance with the execution and financial plan.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-3273\"> <\/span>Essential Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate the bid handover and booking process and ensure that the necessary commercial information is understood and disseminated to the extended project team.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain the project variation control system and managing negotiations in line with contract<br \/>\nrequirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with the project specific contractual administration requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice, assistance and guidance to management, project managers and functions on project specific<br \/>\ncontractual matters.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the invoicing process ensuring that the project maintains the best possible free cash flow.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure commercial risks are identified and managed across the project scopes of work by controlling the overall<br \/>\nproject risk and opportunity review and reporting process.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately manage the project cost status and reporting and advising on variances, risks and corrective actions<br \/>\naffecting the overall project estimate to complete.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate and support periodic client and internal reporting and performance presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a project sourcing plan and timeline is established with the support of Sourcing function and ensure that<br \/>\nrelated commercial and contractual risks for key subcontracts and major purchases are being mitigated and<br \/>\nopportunities are managed.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and support the formulation and negotiation of project contractual claims and counter claims. Support the handover process to the base organisation at project completion.<\/li>\n<li>Deputise for the Project Manager as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or, other relevant legal, commercial, energy related degree.<\/li>\n<li>Substantial contract management experience in a construction project environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in contributing to the improvement of project profitability, cash flow and control of<br \/>\ncommercial risk in previous roles.<\/li>\n<li>Commercially, financially and contractually aware with good communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial leadership skills with proven capability of working in a matrix environment and of leading by<br \/>\ninfluence.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to work at a detail level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/xjobs.brassring.com\/1033\/ASP\/TG\/cim_jobdetail.asp?SID=^glHXdrqZJ6uH5bnoREWHvtgMrjkJEXpptG2yCmUG0r599AywoEE3ZDkhCg_slp_rhc_p7H4Jwrxi68kNHdAw_C_R__L_F_TDY0z6GXYWkbZFZtQ_slp_rhc_ixoaTLEOy0vk8=&amp;jobId=725860&amp;type=search&amp;JobReqLang=1&amp;recordstart=1&amp;JobSiteId=5346&amp;JobSiteInfo=725860_5346&amp;GQId=0\">Apply on GE official website<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GE is a diversified technology, media and financial services company, dedicated to creating products that make life better.
