{"id":45057,"date":"2017-11-17T15:20:03","date_gmt":"2017-11-17T14:20:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=45057"},"modified":"2017-11-17T12:24:44","modified_gmt":"2017-11-17T11:24:44","slug":"ehealth-africa-new-available-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/ehealth-africa-new-available-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"eHealth Africa New Available Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>eHealth Africa designs and implements data-driven solutions and technologies to improve health systems for and with local communities. eHA\u2019s technology works in low connectivity settings, and smartly uses data to drive decision-making by local governments and partner agencies to get optimum results.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Warehouse Manager<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Ngala, Borno<br \/>\nDepartment: Operations<br \/>\nEmployment Type: Short Fixed Term<br \/>\n<strong>Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Warehouse Supervisor oversees inventory and coordinate shipping procedures along with ensuring that all company products are moved from the storage area to the required destination in a safe and timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>He is also responsible for handling accounting and record keeping activities, as well as manage the inventory system and keep abreast of the costs that are involved in making purchases.<\/li>\n<li>Generally keeps, secure and distribute asset of eHA as requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Others duties may be assigned<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates the tracking and movement of goods and supplies. Keep accurate waybill records.<\/li>\n<li>Manage stock using the internal warehouse and stock management procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Performs a variety of tasks related to the Asset Management function.\u00a0 Logs all new asset in the asset register and ensures the appropriate coding and labeling of assets. Updates asset register regularly with changes and new acquisitions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the electronic database\/asset, inventory tracking database, and all relevant documentation are updated on a monthly basis and provide signed hard copies for the physical files.<\/li>\n<li>Perform various warehousing tasks and operations using dedicated software applications and databases.<\/li>\n<li>Provide weekly warehouse report, Asset database and inventory tracking report to the Operations Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.<\/li>\n<li>Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in and promotes a positive, supportive, cooperative team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; timekeeping, recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Meets warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from the warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.<\/li>\n<li>Observes safety and security procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Must always adhere to policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Will adhere to eHealth Africa Code of Conduct as well as ethical standards of the field.<\/li>\n<li>Working with partner organizations in meeting their item storage and withdrawal needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business Administration, Warehousing, Logistics, Procurement or any other related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible related experience, with at least 2 years supporting fair and open procurements including conducting cost\/price analyses, preferred vendor negotiations, and working within US government regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Follow through on commitments.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills required including written, verbal and interpersonal.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with US government-funded acquisition and assistance instruments preferred.<\/li>\n<li>2 years\u2019 experience with an NGO at a supervisory level.<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit professionalism in the workplace at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Accepts responsibility for own actions.<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>You must have a great understanding regarding health and safety for self, others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Core Competence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exhibit professionalism in the workplace at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills and
