Our ultimate aim is to create a new cadre of confident female leaders who are committed to making a positive difference.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the below position:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Art and Design Tutor<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Particular Specific Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teach knowledge and skills in art, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history<\/li>\n<li>Understand the versatility of acrylic paints: dry brushing, staining, layering, underpainting and other techniques<\/li>\n<li>Offer guidance to other staff members in the delivery of the subject<\/li>\n<li>Instruct students in proper care and use of tools and equipment<\/li>\n<li>To work collaboratively in the delivery of Art in order to facilitate the effective development of the subject throughout the school.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support and advice to colleagues for cross curricula Art &amp; Design<\/li>\n<li>Lead creative Arts &amp; Design projects<\/li>\n<li>Plan and present art displays and exhibitions designed to exhibit students\u2019 work for the school and the community<\/li>\n<li>Providing other general class teaching duties as directed by the Principal<\/li>\n<li>Providing scheduled teacher cover release<\/li>\n<li>Giving every child the opportunity to reach their potential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree level qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate professional Qualification e.g. Postgraduate Certificate in Education.<\/li>\n<li>IGCSE Experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Communication:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creates an environment of trust by delivering on promises.<\/li>\n<li>Utilises report-writing skills to accurately reflect a situation through positive language.<\/li>\n<li>Applies effective verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Presents information and ideas clearly, by using language appropriate to the audience.<\/li>\n<li>Positively influences the opinions of others through factual discussion.<\/li>\n<li>Adapts personal style to suit individual situation and needs.<\/li>\n<li>Confident in leading staff meetings as appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Skills Required for Role:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be able to conduct whole class art lessons<\/li>\n<li>Balances tasks and resources in the organisation of a wide range of activities.<\/li>\n<li>Provides contingencies to deal with the unexpected.<\/li>\n<li>Thinks clearly and logically in working through a problem making referrals as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Anticipates workload and plans ahead.<\/li>\n<li>To be able to lead art and exhibitions across the school<\/li>\n<li>To be able to teach a wide range of artistic skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates excellent classroom practice.<\/li>\n<li>Exercises flexibility in order to accommodate changes in work priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors progress against key performance indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic and positive attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of the needs of children who have a variety of needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s and profile to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@noblehall.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@noblehall.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>30th November, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Noble Hall Leadership Academy for Girls, is a school dedicated to educating the total person \u2013 intellectual, spiritually, socially, physically and emotionally.
