Bolton White Hotels &amp; Apartments is superbly placed to cater for guest service requirements; ensuring guest stay is both pleasant &amp; unforgettable, we combine the experience of our team which represents a breadth and depth of expertise that is unmatched, and we believe our people are the cornerstone of our success.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Guest Relation Officer<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet and greet guests upon their arrival at the hotel<\/li>\n<li>Interact with guests and provide a welcoming atmosphere<\/li>\n<li>Cooperate and coordinate with the other hotel departments to provide an efficient service<\/li>\n<li>Provide general information and directions<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and supervise activities for guests<\/li>\n<li>Attend to guests\u2019 queries, needs and other special requests<\/li>\n<li>Listen to complaints put forward by guests, resolve stressful situations and provide solutions to problems<\/li>\n<li>Promote the facilities and services offered by the hotel<\/li>\n<li>Advise and assist guests on leisure activities, places to visit and travel arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Be especially attentive to repeat guests and other VIP guests<\/li>\n<li>Bid farewell to guests at the end of their stay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements\/Educational Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management or other relevant course.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates should be FEMALE ONLY.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An outgoing and cheerful personality<\/li>\n<li>A diplomatic and polite manner<\/li>\n<li>Guest service skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to multi-task and work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>The ability to keep confidentiality and privacy<\/li>\n<li>Communication and listening skills<\/li>\n<li>Organizational and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Decision-making, negotiation and problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>A smart and well groomed appearance (have to look really smart at all times!)<\/li>\n<li>The ability to deal with difficult situations and sensitive issues<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English and ideally knowledge of a foreign language<\/li>\n<li>Telephone manners<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General knowledge of various topics such as the arts, cuisine, history, geography and culture<\/li>\n<li>The ability to absorb information quickly and updated daily on the latest news, events and so on<\/li>\n<li>The ability to communicate with people from all walks of life and of different nationalities<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in other indigenous or foreign languages will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Application Letter and CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:%20jobs@boltonwhitehotel.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>jobs@boltonwhitehotel.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Using the Job Title as email Subject.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>24th November, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bolton White Hotels &amp; Apartments is a leading firm in the hospitality industry.
