{"id":4532,"date":"2010-06-01T07:05:29","date_gmt":"2010-06-01T06:05:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=4532"},"modified":"2014-01-23T20:49:54","modified_gmt":"2014-01-23T19:49:54","slug":"diageo-nigeria-warehouse-technician","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/diageo-nigeria-warehouse-technician.html","title":{"rendered":"Diageo Nigeria Jobs: Warehouse Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/DiageoAfrica.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-304\" title=\"DiageoAfrica\" src=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/DiageoAfrica.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"89\" height=\"35\" \/><\/a>Job Title:            Distribution Warehouse Technician<br \/>\nLevel:              7 (G6\/7)<br \/>\nReports To:            Warehouse Manager<\/p>\n<p>Context\/Scope:<\/p>\n<p>To execute all hands on Brewery warehouse activities to achieve set targets particularly in the areas of receipt, storage, documentation, reporting, reconciliation and accountability of empty bottles and crates as well as finished goods; in line with Diageo supply chain capability framework and risk management standards.<br \/>\nThis job resides within Brewery Distribution section of Customer Services Department<\/p>\n<p>Dimensions:<\/p>\n<p>Financial<\/p>\n<p>This role handles day to day inventory control of empty bottles and crates as well as finished goods in Brewery distribution warehouses and reports to the Warehouse Manager<br \/>\n&lt;<br \/>\nMarket Complexity<\/p>\n<p>Works across packaging and distribution teams in the breweries as well as with personnel of 3rd party logistics service providers to deliver set departmental objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Purpose of Role:            &lt;<\/p>\n<p>To carry out all hands on distribution warehousing activities so as to fully support packaging department and deliver against orders to GN customers while ensuring effective and efficient Inventory management standards are maintained<\/p>\n<p>Top 3-5 Accountabilities:<\/p>\n<p>Receive, store, record and issue all inward goods (fulls and empties) and scheduling, loading of all outward goods (fulls and empties) in line with issuance\/despatch instructions<\/p>\n<p>Reconcile physical stock to the inventory listing balance in Sun system daily, weekly and monthly<\/p>\n<p>Prepare and circulate all periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) inventory reports<\/p>\n<p>Supervise all 3rd party logistics service providers\u2019 personnel in the warehouse to achieve departmental targets<\/p>\n<p>Maintain compliance with statutory, GNPLC and Diageo standards in warehousing, physical distribution and inventory management<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience Required:<br \/>\n&lt;<\/p>\n<p>Minimum of OND or its equivalent<\/p>\n<p>Computer literate<\/p>\n<p>Good commercial skills<\/p>\n<p>Honest and of high integrity<\/p>\n<p>Maximo \/ Sun \/ SAP expert<\/p>\n<p>Good business understanding<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communications skills<\/p>\n<p>Excellent inventory control skills<\/p>\n<p>To apply online click on the link below.
