Our Automobile Clinic service center in Lagos has immediate opening for reliable Senior Automotive Mechanics\/Technicians to join our team.<\/li>\n<li>We operate one of the finest and most efficient repair shops in Nigeria, and we require excellence of our devoted staff.<\/li>\n<li>We believe in taking care of our people.<\/li>\n<li>Each automotive technician must have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimum service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><br \/>\nDuties may include, but are not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspects and diagnoses mechanical and electrical malfunctions in Vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Repairs and replaces defective or worn parts and accessories.<\/li>\n<li>Performs preventive maintenance work, lubrication and inspection on automobiles<\/li>\n<li>Performs major and minor engine tune-ups<\/li>\n<li>Also overhauls engines, transmissions, differentials, front ends, steering gears and braking systems.<\/li>\n<li>Installs emergency equipment on patrol vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Operates diagnostic equipment and evaluates readings.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose auto\/truck air conditioners and repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Repairs brakes and related components and repairs tires and tubes.<\/li>\n<li>Responds to service calls.<\/li>\n<li>Picks up and delivers automotive parts and supplies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nRequirements for this role include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Several years solid work experience with diagnostics skills, electrical troubleshooting and repair and general automotive repair on foreign and domestic vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs<\/li>\n<li>Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers<\/li>\n<li>Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose and repair automotive systems including: engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology<\/li>\n<li>Must be a team player and self-starter with the ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>We Technician<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Between 3 and 20 years of experience as automotive mechanic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>License:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possession of a valid driver\u2019s license, at the time of appointment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Residence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be resident in Lagos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Knowledge of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Theory, operation and repair of internal combustion engines, automatic and manual transmissions, electrical systems, chassis, brakes, cooling systems and other automotive components<\/li>\n<li>Hydraulic valves and control and braking systems, and electronic ignition.<\/li>\n<li>Lubricating systems, oils, greases, tools and attachments used in lubricating gas vehicles and related equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Tools, materials, equipment and methods used in the overhaul, repair, and adjustment of automotive and motorized equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Methods used in electric-arc and acetylene welding.<\/li>\n<li>Safe work practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ability to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect automotive and other power-driven equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions.<\/li>\n<li>Recognize mechanical problems by sight and sound.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and carry out oral and written directions.<\/li>\n<li>Cut, reform, and fabricate parts using welders and shop equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Perform minor and major mechanical repairs on County equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Use a variety of power hand-tools, diagnostic equipment, shop equipment with skill and safety.<\/li>\n<li>Keep basic records.<\/li>\n<li>Read and write at the level required for successful job performance.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with others.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to repair equipment located in confined areas.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect, adjust, repair and fully understand the purpose\/function of vehicle emission control systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and
