Interns generally find the experience to be rewarding and interesting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>World Bank Internship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Selection Criteria<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be eligible for an Internship, candidates must\u00a0have an undergraduate degree\u00a0and\u00a0be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program<a href=\"http:\/\/saroafrica.com.ng\/career\/submit-applications\/\">\u00a0<\/a>(pursuing a Master\u2019s degree or PhD with plans to return to school full-time).<\/li>\n<li>Successful candidates have usually completed their first year of graduate studies or are into their PhD programs.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English is required. Relevant work experience, computing skills, as well as knowledge of languages such as French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, and Chinese are advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Details<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This Internship typically seeks candidates in the following fields: economics, finance, human development (public health, education, nutrition, population), social science (anthropology, sociology), agriculture, environment, private sector development, and other related fields.<\/p>\n<p>The Bank pays an hourly salary to all Interns and, where applicable, provides an allowance toward travel expenses. Interns are responsible for their own living accommodations. Most positions are in Washington, DC; others are in country offices. They are a minimum of four weeks long.<\/p>\n<p>The World Bank Group Internship is offered during two seasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Summer Internship (June\u2013September): The application period is\u00a0December 1\u2013January 31\u00a0each year.<\/li>\n<li>Winter Internship (December\u2013March): The application period is\u00a0October 1-31\u00a0each year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All applications\u00a0must\u00a0be submitted online.
