By cultivating leadership and developing a culture of excellence, Jagal is dedicated to empowering people and building strategic partnerships that aim to achieve sustainable growth for the advancement of the Nigerian community.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Group Corporate Affairs Director (GCAD)<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Group Corporate Affairs Director (GCAD) is Jagal\u2019s most senior communicator, responsible for all internal and external communications, government relations, community relations, PR and public policy.<\/li>\n<li>The position reports to and works closely with the Group Executive Chairman and the Group Co-CEO\u2019s who form the Jagal Executive Committee (JEC).<\/li>\n<li>The position support other corporate management in the areas of Strategy, Business Development, Commercial and Legal to help manage Jagal\u2019s communication strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for all Jagal\u2019s internal and external corporate communications, government relations, PR and public policy<\/li>\n<li>Managing communications and relations with all government bodies<\/li>\n<li>Initiating, managing and delivering the Corporate Communications Policy<\/li>\n<li>Manage Jagal\u2019s reputation and corporate identity<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage communications with the media and any related media campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Provide strategic advisory communication to the Executive team<\/li>\n<li>Developing strategic management of Government and regulatory agencies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure crisis communication plan is in place<\/li>\n<li>Track emerging issues with Business units<\/li>\n<li>Participate in HSE incident investigation and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Constantly gather business, political and social intelligence and report to the JEC<\/li>\n<li>Acquire any information in support of business development and Company tenders<\/li>\n<li>Build a comprehensive network of internal and external contacts, decision makers, industry influencers and policy makers so as to position Jagal favourably in the business, political and social environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven work experience in a high level Corporate Affairs position<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence to serve as the company\u2019s spokesperson<\/li>\n<li>A brand ambassador<\/li>\n<li>Able to conduct TV\/Media appearances \u2013 be the face of Jagal<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in different social networks, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding public speaking experience ideally to Industry and Government bodies<\/li>\n<li>Ability to foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external<\/li>\n<li>Expert content writing skill \u2013 Press releases, news articles, online content<\/li>\n<li>Crisis management experience<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience of the Nigerian market<\/li>\n<li>B.Sc or Masters in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/workable.com\/j\/48C5A13B60\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to Apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jagal is a Nigerian conglomerate holding that operates leading energy businesses and manages a diverse portfolio of investments.
