Our highly-skilled analysts produce original and insightful reports by leveraging global databases, performing interviews and field tasks such as customer surveys, store-checks, and focus groups coordination.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Business Research Manager<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Manager performs research, answer clients\u2019 requests and lead a team of analysts in business and investment research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management: Coaching, training, and evaluating analysts<\/li>\n<li>Client relationship: They are the primary point of contact of our clients, in charge of quality assurance, business development etc<\/li>\n<li>Expertise: They lead a team of specialists in a given field (by industry, by region or by topic)<\/li>\n<li>Managing a team: clarifying objectives, clarifying timeline, clarifying each team member\u2019s responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Managing projects: setting priorities, and budgeting time for each component<\/li>\n<li>Drafting proposals<\/li>\n<li>Account Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Their performance is measured in terms of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quality: delivering accurate, verified and reliable information<\/li>\n<li>Attitude: Willingness to improve and learn on the job, coaching of other team members, and helpful attitude with other members of the team, proactivity when not assigned a particular task<\/li>\n<li>Creativity and resourcefulness: ability to hunt the information using different tools with a focus on results<\/li>\n<li>Effectiveness: ability to work in a productive way (prioritizing tasks, staying focused,etc)<\/li>\n<li>Being 100% reliable and to deliver on time<\/li>\n<li>Prioritization and Time Management: Managing deadline expectations: intermediary deadlines, and final deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThis position is very demanding and requires strong management skills.
