fill the positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Food &amp; Beverage Supervisor<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nCandidates are expected to have experience working in a continental restaurant and is comfortable attending to expatriate guest.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must be very knowledgeable about major continental food menu and receipt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess comprehensive product knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods, garnishments, current trends and make recommendations for appropriate adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>Inform waiters of daily house specials if available.<\/li>\n<li>Possess adequate knowledge of the Beverage menu<\/li>\n<li>Participate in weekly and monthly bar stock count when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Manage Restaurant operations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain exceptional levels of customer service<\/li>\n<li>Recruit, manage, train and develop the Restaurant team<\/li>\n<li>Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for monthly stock takes<\/li>\n<li>Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue<\/li>\n<li>Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated<\/li>\n<li>Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships<\/li>\n<li>Comply with restaurant security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability<\/li>\n<li>Organising marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes<\/li>\n<li>Preparing reports at the end of the shift\/week, including staff control, food control and sales<\/li>\n<li>Creating and executing plans for department sales, profit and staff development<\/li>\n<li>Setting budgets and\/or agreeing them with senior management<\/li>\n<li>Planning and coordinating menus<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts<\/li>\n<li>Managing staff and providing them with feedback<\/li>\n<li>Responding to customer complaints<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company\u2019s uniform standards<\/li>\n<li>Meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations<\/li>\n<li>Advising customers on menu and wine choice<\/li>\n<li>Recruiting, training and motivating staff<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety<\/li>\n<li>Checking stock levels and ordering supplies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Pastry &amp; Bakery Chef<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have experience in managing a pastry\/bakery department in a continental restaurant or fast food outlet<\/li>\n<li>Must know how to produce baguettes, croissants, burger bread, soft rolls,various types of bread and various types of cakes, muffins, cookies, pies,ice cream, waffles,pancakes etc.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for reporting all malfunctioning bakery equipment and reporting the same to the Head Pastry Chef.<\/li>\n<li>Helps Head Pastry Chef develop and research new recipes and creates decorative pastry products for special events, parties, and banquets.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the food preparation areas in the pastry are clean and hygienic.<\/li>\n<li>Works with Head Pastry Chef to take appropriate action to reduce operating costs and wastage without affecting quality of pastries or service.<\/li>\n<li>Instructs and trains bakery employees on the proper procedures and techniques in the production of pastry products.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in month end inventory and stock taking of all items in the pastry
