{"id":46283,"date":"2017-12-21T10:00:38","date_gmt":"2017-12-21T09:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=46283"},"modified":"2017-12-21T10:00:38","modified_gmt":"2017-12-21T09:00:38","slug":"woobs-resources-new-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/woobs-resources-new-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Woobs Resources New Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Woobs Resources is an indigenous private company with the main objective of carrying out the business of building and property development, with expertise in market development.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Accountant<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare journal entries.<\/li>\n<li>Complete general ledger operations monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with payroll administration monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences.<\/li>\n<li>Account\/bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Review and process expense reports assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Draw up monthly financial reports prepare analysis of accounts as requested.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with year end closings administer accounts receivable and accounts payable<\/li>\n<li>Prepare tax computations and returns assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements, Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding accounting, finances and taxation.<\/li>\n<li>Technical accounting skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of finance principles<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of general accounting proficiency in relevant accounting software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organizing<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling and monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem analysis and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Team work &amp; confidentiality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers.wrl@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers.wrl@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with \u201cAccountant\u201d as the subject of the mail.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nNote<\/strong>: Northerners are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>27th December, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Woobs Resources is an indigenous private company with the main objective of carrying out the business of building and property development, with expertise in market development.
