The Association seeks energetic and self motivated personnel to fill a vacant position within the organization:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Software Developer<\/strong><br \/>\nReporting to the Head, Technical Services, whilst working with a team of other developers on diverse projects, the<br \/>\nSoftware Developer will be primarily responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reviewing current application software<\/li>\n<li>presenting ideas for system improvements<\/li>\n<li>working closely with staff on systems improvement<\/li>\n<li>producing detailed specifications and writing program codes<\/li>\n<li>debugging existing source code<\/li>\n<li>testing the product in a controlled, real situations before going live<\/li>\n<li>maintaining systems\/applications once they are up and running<\/li>\n<li>collaborating with clients and other programmers to design andimplement features<\/li>\n<li>producing well-organized, optimized, and documented source code promptly<\/li>\n<li>documentation of software tools and user manual for each project<\/li>\n<li>working independently when required<\/li>\n<li>continuously learning and improving IT skills; and<\/li>\n<li>carry out any other task as assigned by the Head, Technical Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Attributes and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science\/ Electrical or ElectronicEngineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower<\/li>\n<li>Work experience in a highly professional, close-knit, team-focused environment<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 4-6 years progressive work experience in a related field<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with C#, C++, PHP, HTML, .NET, and Java programming language<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with databases (Postresql, Mysql, MSsql), data manipulation languages and the principles of database design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Attributes and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work with debian operating system<\/li>\n<li>Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in current computer hardware and software installation<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)<\/li>\n<li>Good Team spirit<\/li>\n<li>SDLC skills\/SDLC agile<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their curriculum vitae to\u00a0<strong>vacancies@lohiconsult.ng<\/strong>\u00a0using position applied for as subject of the email.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) is an independent not-for-profit, self regulatory and self governing organization founded on March 23, 2005 as a stakeholder-led organization, charged with the responsibility of managing&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[2690],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
