We are a network of firms in 158 countries with more than 180,000 people who are committed to delivering quality in Assurance, Tax and Advisory services<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Economist\/Analyst \u2013 Manager (Internal Firm Services)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference Number:<\/strong> 125-NIG00154<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\nJob type: Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the analysis and writing of the PwC Nigeria Economic Bulletins<\/li>\n<li>Establish global links with Economics and other Thought Leadership teams within the PwC network to bring and adapt Thought Leadership to the Nigerian clients and market as required<\/li>\n<li>Establish a consistent media presence for PwC\u2019s Economics Thought Leadership in social media, print, television, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Industry leaders in implementing the FY industry plan, providing analytical support<\/li>\n<li>Attend industry meetings, presenting KZ\u2019s views on emerging industry and business environment trends<\/li>\n<li>Conduct strategic client engagement workshops such as the Fiercest Competitor Workshop (FCW)<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain a KZ data portal on baseline industry data and PwC reports, making it accessible to internal clients.<\/li>\n<li>Give speeches to clients and conferences based on analysis and output<\/li>\n<li>Produce research and analysis that will support a pipeline of potential opportunities across PwC\u2019s priority industries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc Economics\/Finance\/Statistics\/Accounting<\/li>\n<li>M.Sc Economics\/Finance or MBA<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualifications: ICAN\/ACCA, CFA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional Information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The seniority of the role will likely mean between 8 and 10 years\u2019 experience which could be in a combination of roles across: advisory consulting, strategy, equity research and industry\/market research<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in economic research and analysis, econometrics, financial analysis, and strategy, report writing. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Eviews<\/li>\n<li>Vast knowledge of industry groups: Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Agriculture, Energy amongst others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with relevant experience in presenting ideas and data to senior leadership to guide decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Strong business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills \u2013 including data structuring, quantitative reasoning and implication development<\/li>\n<li>Managing teams across different business groups<\/li>\n<li>Excellent planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
