Our vision is to create technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Within HP, the Africa region represents a massive business territory, covering over 50 territories, with a population of 1.2 billion people.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Partner Business Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job ID:<\/strong> 3022229<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serves as the expert to the partner for complex information regarding product, services, and software transitions, promotions, and configurations.<\/li>\n<li>Transactional and relationship selling working within a team of selling professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Creates, fills-in and manages HP funnel for deals with partners and transforms potential leads into joint sales activities.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes relationship with partner at all organization levels including senior executives.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures partners are compliant with legal and SBC practices.<\/li>\n<li>May drive SOW growth with distributors who are managing small partners on behalf of HP.<\/li>\n<li>May recruit and develop business relationship with new partners.<\/li>\n<li>Educates and updates partners on new HP technologies or solutions. May be brought in by partners to sell HP brand to end customers.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and maintains account plans to promote sales growth.<\/li>\n<li>Achieves assigned quota for HP products, services, and software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University or Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Typically 5-8 years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level.<\/li>\n<li>Solid experience in selling to partners in a complex environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Knowledge and Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel. Dimensions include competitive positioning.<\/li>\n<li>Develops account plans with partner to grow HP\u2019s share of the business.<\/li>\n<li>Partners effectively with others in the account to ensure coordinated efficient account management.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to motivate partner\u2019s sales force.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of pipeline management discipline and ability to explain benefits to partners.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of HP\u2019s organization &amp; operations, including key business rules, and alignment with HP GBU go-to-market strategies, partner segmentation, key programs &amp; initiatives, structure.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of many of HP\u2019s products, software, and services.
