We are passionate about brewing and have a long tradition of craftsmanship, making superb beer from high quality natural ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Sustainability and Corporate Affairs Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Reference Number:<\/strong> ABI102<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nAmongst other duties, the job holder will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, organize, manage and co-ordinate the provisions of corporate affairs and public relations services both internally and externally<\/li>\n<li>Ensure implementation of public relations strategy and policy, which promotes a positive public image of the business nationally, regionally and internationally<\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for the Annual Report and the announcement of Company results in liaison with Financial Director and the Board<\/li>\n<li>Maintain close contact with role players responsible for liquor legislation and develop a proactive strategy to protect the interest of our business in liaison with the Managing Director<\/li>\n<li>Participate as company representative on selected forums set up to monitor and administer industry affairs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a detailed CSI Plan is developed for the whole company and implement such with focus on high leverage CSI projects (AIDS education, road safety, environment, and small enterprise development)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an excellent working relationship with the external stakeholders, leveraging off their community stature and knowledge for the benefit of the company<\/li>\n<li>Develop media relations in conjunction with identified role-players to improve the company profile<\/li>\n<li>Work with relevant marketing and sales functions to co-ordinate PR activities on behalf of the company (e.g. Soccer Leagues, brand launches etc\u2026) Role is a supporting one as individual company\u2019s\/departments are responsible for their own results<\/li>\n<li>Develop a list of key Government contacts and develop an effective counter-strategy to anti-alcohol lobby<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe occupant of this position should possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Social Sciences or Communication<\/li>\n<li>Between 5 to 7 years relevant experience in a similar role at management level in a Brewery or FMCG environment<\/li>\n<li>Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key competencies and attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of media relations and applicable legislation<\/li>\n<li>Passionate, self-starter and positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Excellent understanding of local market and key players<\/li>\n<li>Good listening, negotiating and networking skills<\/li>\n<li>Good written and verbal communication<\/li>\n<li>Action and results oriented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sabmiller.mcidirecthire.com\/External\/Job?Ref=Sm9iSWQ9MzQ3JlNvdXJjZT0=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SABMiller is in the beer and soft drinks business, bringing refreshment and sociability to millions of people all over the world who enjoy our drinks.
