We mobilize blood donations, take inventory of all blood available in the country, and deliver blood in the right condition to the point of need.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance Lead<br \/>\nFunction of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The finance Lead is responsible for maintaining the financial health of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>He or she must manage the financial and accounting services in order to meet regulatory and statutory obligations.<\/li>\n<li>He or she will be tasked with preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll and managing company financial operations including but not limited to accounts receivable and payable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help prepare the company budget, and regular cash flow position statements.<\/li>\n<li>Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis<\/li>\n<li>Maintain short term cash forecast and develop close understanding of daily and monthly cash flow analysis to aid informed decisions<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain supplier accounts and maintain the purchase order system.<\/li>\n<li>Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field.<\/li>\n<li>Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other financial administration tasks as assigned by the CEO.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and oversee the annual Audit<\/li>\n<li>Consolidate and analyze financial data (cash flow, budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) taking into account company\u2019s goals and financial standing<\/li>\n<li>Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.<\/li>\n<li>Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance<\/li>\n<li>Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models<\/li>\n<li>Carry out industry analysis, identify trends, advise company and recommend actions based on sound analysis<\/li>\n<li>Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present reports to management, board and regulatory agencies as when required<\/li>\n<li>Perform other managerial duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven 2 years working experience as a Financial Analyst<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications<\/li>\n<li>Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis<\/li>\n<li>Well informed in current financial subjects, tax laws, money market and business environment<\/li>\n<li>BSc in Finance, Economics or related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a deep desire to work in the start up industry<\/li>\n<li>Technology industry awareness<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized and detailed<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mind<\/li>\n<li>High level of integrity and honesty<\/li>\n<li>Very tech savvy and knowledgeable of current trends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work in the office<\/li>\n<li>Work with computers<\/li>\n<li>Will be required to write reports<\/li>\n<li>Would be required to handle cash<\/li>\n<li>Might be required to work overtime, on weekends and travel as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<section id=\"listing-fields\"><\/section>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidate should send their CV&#8217;s and necessary documents to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:team@lifebank.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>team@lifebank.ng<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LifeBank is a platform that makes blood available when and where it is needed in Nigeria to save lives.
